Nike Sliders are good but they are just a little long in the legs! Each side covers your knees and makes it a little restricting to run in!

Good fit, but expensive
My son likes these a lot, comfortable, but expensive. Wait till end of season when they go on sale! They do hold up well to repeated washings.

The one to buy.
We bought this item for our teenage son that loves to slide in baseball. This is his second pair of these and his first pair are still in good shape but he has outgrown them. His first pair lasted for over 3 years. The padding is thicker than other brands, the waistband will not stretch out and the fabric is very tough. The cup area offers plenty of support and holds the cup in place well. I would not consider purchasing any other brand of sliding shorts for our son. Plenty of protection and a top quality item!!!
