Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 25 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product As accurate as my playing partner's $400 rangefinder. Easy to use, light weight, very fast measurements. August 7, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good for the cost. It works on the flag inside 150 yards. Outside that you need to aim at something else, if someone is on the green putting, or the back of a sand trap, etc. It works good for the cost. If you want something better you will need to pay more. (I'm about a 10 handicap) August 6, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Awesome product for the money you save! I am a very avid golfer. I play at least three rounds a week. Just recently I decided to switch from my GPS style range finder to a laser. I looked at several different models, and spoke with almost everyone I encountered on the course with one. I decided to try to save some money and go with a much cheaper model than most of my friends use. I have compared the distance given to me against many of the $400 and up units. This model is exactly the same readings. It is pin point accurate and very easy to use. It comes in very useful to know accurate distances on elevated tee boxes or greens with the angle feature. Over 200 yards it is harder than other models to get the flag, sometimes it will miss and read out the trees behind it. If there is any flag movement it works ok because it has a larger target to accurately read. But if it is still and laying strait down you need a hand more steady than a brain surgeon to get the flag stick at that distance. However inside of 200 yards it works just as good as models 3 times its cost. And that is where you really need the accuracy. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to save money but still have a quality range finder. July 21, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Approach in an easy way This rangefinder is a simple tool to use on the fairway. It does require a still hand, exact aim and a few readings to the pin to get accurate distance. If you need a reading on a hazard in the fairway you might have a difficult time as it requires a larger object as focus point. Easy screen reading and light enough to carry in your pocket or on your belt Overal a nice inexpensive way to better your golf game. July 12, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Awful This rangefinder is a joke. For $150 it should be within 2-3 yards not 10-15. I'm a caddie at a country club and I was caddying for our clubs owner. Every time i gave a distance it was at least 10yds off. I gave a distance and he instantly hit it in the water because he had the wrong distance. June 19, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by waste of time and money not accurate very disappointed will take back to store for a up grade June 6, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very Frustrating to use and Very Low Quality This product was on sale so I thought it would be a good value. At first it read pretty accurately from about 150 in but would not get you any reading on a flagstick past 150. With extended use the buttons got worse and worse and harder to use. You had to hit them 5 or 10 times to activate the laser and then the accuracy started getting way off. Currently it always reads short anywhere from 7-15 yards off. I think it's about 10% short almost all of the time. Don't waste your time with a laser rangefinder just get the GPS style they are way more consistent and reliable. May 9, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by found best use was for its intended use - short range targeting A value purchase for short-range yardage use given already having a good non-laser GPS for other yardage needs. After "gettting the hang of it" found it useful for yardages from 125yds varied pin placements. Recommendation for purchase is as a short yardage assisst - as noted, couldn't resist the "clearance sale" price. March 7, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Works great The Approach is a very useful tool to have. I have only got to use it for 1 round of golf (cold February day in Toledo) and found it handy to know my distances since the course pulled the markers. The accuracy will be put to the test in the months to come but so far I am happy with the purchase. March 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Does enough for your avg golfer I wanted a yardage finder that was reliable and did not need to pay an arm and a leg. Without the major endorsement on the side of the range finder, the price reduced greatly and still got what I wanted. January 20, 2013
