Very Frustrating to use and Very Low Quality
This product was on sale so I thought it would be a good value. At first it read pretty accurately from about 150 in but would not get you any reading on a flagstick past 150. With extended use the buttons got worse and worse and harder to use. You had to hit them 5 or 10 times to activate the laser and then the accuracy started getting way off. Currently it always reads short anywhere from 7-15 yards off. I think it's about 10% short almost all of the time. Don't waste your time with a laser rangefinder just get the GPS style they are way more consistent and reliable.

found best use was for its intended use - short range targeting
A value purchase for short-range yardage use given already having a good non-laser GPS for other yardage needs. After "gettting the hang of it" found it useful for yardages from 125yds in.to varied pin placements. Recommendation for purchase is as a short yardage assisst - as noted, couldn't resist the "clearance sale" price.

The Approach is a very useful tool to have. I have only got to use it for 1 round of golf (cold February day in Toledo) and found it handy to know my distances since the course pulled the markers. The accuracy will be put to the test in the months to come but so far I am happy with the purchase.

Does enough for your avg golfer
I wanted a yardage finder that was reliable and did not need to pay an arm and a leg. Without the major endorsement on the side of the range finder, the price reduced greatly and still got what I wanted.

The yardages were very far off and inconsistant, making this instrument worthless. I went to Dicks and traded up the next day to a Nikon which works great.

WAYYY OVERPRICED/ Poor quality
I purchased this rangefinder with the hopes of accurate readings out of the box. It was accurate 50% of the time. I had my concerns right out of the box as well. Just holding the unit it felt quite cheap and light weight(compared to the bushnell unit that I have held and used in person). The biggest issue was the buttons them selves would not work 70% of the time. I would press the button and hope for a reading like the product promised. This was not the case. Needless to say, I returned this product. Headed to the bushnell.

I bought this for my hubby for his birthday & he loves it!!! It was a really great gift; especially for the man who already has everything & is extremely hard to buy for. When he asked me how much I spent, he was elated that I got it for such a great price. He has already recommended it to my father who bought a rangefinder for much, much more & only had his for a week before it stopped working.

Stopped working after 1 round.
Worked good for 1 round. Buttons stopped working. Sent back. No problem with credit. Was hoping to just have another one sent back. Will not reorder, more trouble. Than I want to go thru for a product that didn't work.

Too hard to use
We have a bushnell and love it. This one was hard to focus on the pin. I returned it and bought the more expensive bushnell.

You get what you pay for
65 yr. old lady golfer with 20 hdcp. and play 2 to 5 days per week. Only used the Approach G90X for one 18 hole round because in comparison to other rangefinders being used in my foursome, it was not as easy to read, nor was the distance as accurate. I will return it and add another $100 to buy Bushnell or Callaway/Nikon.
