Nice, but... My husband really likes these shorts as they are comfortable for running. The problem with them is that they are so light and if you sweat a lot, it goes right through the fabric and looks like you've wet your pants!!! Not ideal for a long run. April 16, 2013

My reaction was "Meh" These do what they're supposed to: provide support, be lightweight, wick moisture away. But they aren't the best at doing any of this. First of all, for some reason the waistband is really loose. It's as if there's almost no elastic in it, so you have to cinch the drawstrings up really tight to make sure they aren't slipping or falling down. On top of that, the outer shorts material is really inflexible. It has almost no "give" at all. Pair this with the fact that the leg openings are not very big, and that they go down to just above the knees, I feel like the shorts really constrict my movement. I primarily run in these shorts, but also do some cross-training and weight lifting - if you plan to do squats in these shorts, forget it. Every time I try, I feel like I'm about to split the shorts right down the crotch. I also get this feeling during pre- and post-run stretching. The last gripe I have is that the outer material gets really heavy and clingy when wet. I use these shorts on long runs, so they're usually soaked by the end of the run. When they get that way they cling to my skin really bad which is cold and overall just not enjoyable. I do really like the pockets and the internal key pocket, but those are table stakes for decent running shorts, quite frankly. All in all, not terrible shorts, but I much prefer the Under Armour and Brooks shorts that I own over these, primarily because of the flexibility of the outer material. I won't be returning these, but I won't be buying another pair either. March 17, 2013
