Nice shin guards for new players Started adult learn to play and d-league this year. Was skeptical about the straps, but they actually work well for me. Since no strap under the knee, I use a single wrap of clear shin guard tape over the sock below the knee to help prevent the guard from slip/twist. Very comfortable, easy to wear, and good coverage. Liners are not removable, so I hang the guards up to dry using the loops. Appears to be the XTK model with different color. Have used these several times, no complaints, very comfortable. I'd buy them again. April 6, 2014
Good Product Ive had these same shin pads for years and they have never failed me. Well worth the money. February 26, 2014
Solid Product Product is well constructed and is a decent low price point option. Only draw back is in the design of the straps. Having only a single connection point could pose to be problematic as the velcro ages. January 29, 2014
Good Value These are constructed well but tend to twist sideways with a lot of movement. They're definitely worth the $20 I got them for. May 25, 2013
These should not be sold in stores!!!!! I bought these for my 14 year old son and on his first game they broke on the first check givin to him. He was taken out of the game and was able to keep playing but with the use of the rinks shin guards. I do not recommend these to anyone:( February 24, 2013
Great for Recreation Bought these pads just starting out. Great deal for the money. They fit comfortably and offer solid protection. However, I would not get them for serious competition, as they are a bit heavy. But, if you play for fun or just pond hockey, these pads are a great value. January 14, 2013
