FootJoy Men's XPS-1 Golf Shoe 3.8 5 4 4
Not what I expected I guess the reason you don't buy shoes online is trying them on first. Unfortunately I put them on and went right out on the course. The shoe started pinching my toe after a few holes and left it with a bruise. Not sure if there is anything I can do at this point. The main problem is my local Dicks didn't carry these in store and I could only get them online. I mistake I will not make again. July 6, 2012
Very good shoe, too expensive I have worn the shoes for 4 rounds of golf. They are quite comfortable and do seem to add stability to my game. They are noticeably heavier than any other shoe I've owned, which is a bit of a draw back. Overall they are a quality shoe, the only strong negative is their price. May 28, 2012
Easy Exchange! I bought these golf shoes on the website as a gift, and had them shipped directly to my nephew. He says he really likes them. But that's not why I'm writing this review. I'm writing to compliment Dick's Sporting Goods on their customer service. My nephew wanted to exchange the shoes for another color. I contacted customer service and spoke with a very helpful representative who explained how he could make the exchange by taking the shoes to his local Dick's Sporting Goods store. He did so, and in less than ten minutes the return was completed and the new shoes ordered. (His size isn't stocked in store.) No hassles, no problems... just competent service. Thank you Dick's Sporting Goods! May 1, 2012
Overall a very good design Played my first round wearing these today, very satisfied. ECL Leather System waterproofing worked as advertised, my feet remained dry in the rain and tall, wet grass. Gel collar remained comfortable around the sides and back of my ankle the entire round. Extreme outsole provided excellent stability especially since I have a tendency to roll outward on my right ankle. Improvements could be made in the tongue design and the spikes. During my first round, the tongue rubbed against my ankle but this should improve as the shoe breaks in. Maybe adding gel to the tip of the tongue would help. Although the Cyclone spikes provide excellent traction, they are a disappointment. In combination with the ridges molded into the sole, the spikes catch too much grass and do not clean out easily. Hopefully this will become a minor inconvenience as course mowings increase this spring. March 31, 2012
