will be returning this reel
poor casting , noisey , backlash city with this reel . i own abu's , lews , shimanos, and of all the quantum code is by far the worst one . i like quantum spinning outfits but as for casters try somewhere else .
the only up side is the looks and the flippin switch

great reel
I use this as one of my tournament reels, and I absolutely love it. Smooth and fast retrieve, it also cast like a dream, even while throwing smaller soft plastics. I plan on buying another soon.

Fair Judgement----Don't Buy!
Nice low profile and light weight. However the reel has no casting distance what-so-ever. No matter how you adjust the reel you can not make even a medium long cast. Even throwing heavy spinnerbaits and such it is impossible to get any distance out of this reel. The dual adjustment does not work it's basically cosmetic I guess. I bought two of them and kinda regret the decision. The high speed is nice though. I hope that I can turn this into a fliping and pitching outfit but I really do not think I will even be able to pitch jigs with it. The casting on this reel is it's downfall. Do not buy!!
