Worth every penny
Purchase as it is being discontinued. Save $20-$50. Light, comfy, great for running. Had the Nike Free, that was light but not nearly as comfy as these.

Asics GT2170's
I bought a pair of these, and was so happy with them, I bought a second pair, I use them for work and I am on my feet all day. I could not find all black gt 2170's. Only Dick's Sports had them. Its too bad Asics discontinued this model.

very comfortable.
I e-mailed ASICS to my problem of the uppers ripping apart and wondered if it was a common problem? No response to date and my old ASICS are still fine except for the falling apart of the upper mesh.

Good shoes, but it takes me awhile to break in. Really need a wide but I can make them work.

Another solid ASICS shoe
This is probably my 10th pair of Asics and they always make an excellent shoe. I am about 6', 200lbs and these shoes can really handle the pounding and mileage. The gel technology truly provides a smooth ride that hugs the foot nicely. Also I am a huge fan of the "all black" shoe coloring.

typical asics greatness
i buy a pair of these every year going back to the 2110 series. great for over pronators (flat feet) like me. i abuse footwear, and these keep my back, knees, and feet feeling great all day.this is the end of the 21xx series though, as they are being replaced by the 1000's. as long as they don't change the formula, i'll keep buying more.
great price now that they are selling them off. for $80 you can't beat them.
