Great table for the $$
I put it together it together in 2 hours and even did so alone. This is certainly not recommended as the ends are very heavy. Overall, maybe the best directions of the many things I've had to put together. The table has a few tiny blemishes or rub marks on it but it would have after playing a few times anyway so no big deal. Overall, the table looks great and was fun to play on. It is very sturdy and rolls easily on concrete in my shop. This was the only black table I could find for a decent price also. I paid $299.99 at my local store and have heard its been on sale for $279 more than once. Oh btw, if you don't have a rechargeable power driver that you can set the torque on this will be a great excuse to get one. It will save you tons of time. There are about 150 small screws. Set it on light torque so not to strip out screws. You will be very glad you have it!

Great for the price.
Let this be the review that you use to consider whether or not you want to purchase this ping pong table. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I got a little spoiled playing on my step dad's Stiga 4100. If I hadn't before this would've definitely been a 5 star. I notice just a subtle less bounce on this top because it's a 3/4 inch vs. the 1 inch top the 4100 has. Also the 4100 has adjustable feet where this 3100 doesn't. I don't personally care because my garage is totally flat and doesn't need the adjustable feet, where his does. In a nutshell I am COMPLETELY SATISFIED with my decision on this product. I got it for $299. Great deal considering the matching sticker price on other inferior tables. I did A LOT of shopping around, reading reviews, and price matching and came to the conclusion that the 3100 was the best choice for me. There are a lot of great tables out there, but they cost way more. I can say with all the confidence in the world that for price and quality.. this is it. If you're not going to be on the ping pong tour circuit soon playing professionally, but want a GREAT table at a GREAT price.. this is it. More money means more bells and whistles, but for VALUE this is it. Because I read so many reviews I felt obligated to not only write one myself, but to write one that I would have wanted to read while researching for a table. Oh.. ya.. assembly takes about a 6 pack's time to put together.. however if a lengthy assembly is all it takes to keep you away from buying this product.. good. You don't deserve it. And two people is required. Also it is true that some of the hinges need the "flat part" to be reversed. Don't freak out and take the whole thing back for a refund. Just twist the "flat part" of the hinges around to the other side and you'll be able to install it. Thanks for reading, and you're welcome.

Great table! Love it!
The table took two of us 3-4 hours to assemble but it was not that bad. It is a high quality table and looks great! Be careful when you assemble the table because I chipped the inside edge a bit when I tilted it up on it's side. I wish that was protected a bit more especially sind that is where the net attaches, but it is a bute. I really like the ball holders on each end.

This table is awesome for the price! The only mishap that this table included was 1 wrong (backwards) metal fixure that folds the table table out and locks it into place. Setting up the table was time consuming, but fairly easy to figure out. This table is the perfect indoor ping pong table. Highly recommend it to anyone who has room in their house.

Well Made
Product is well made and he instructions are very clear. Didn't take too long to put together. Packing was good but there were a few things that were slightly scratched and bent in the box. These were minimal and were easy to adjust to make them fit as designed. The transition from regular table to 'individual play' is an easy process. It isn't really easy to roll around on carpet but it does fold up easily.

Well built, great price
As ping-pong loving parents, we bought this table as a Christmas family present so our kids (8 & 11) could be introduced to the joys of the sport. It was an instant hit. Ok, maybe not instant: first we had to spend ~6 hours putting it together. The instructions are clear, though, with all parts well labeled, etc. The quality of the materials is surprisingly good for a product that affordable (we bought it on sale at Dick's for $250). Unless you're a pro looking for something in the $1k range (which you're not, or you wouldn't be reading amateur reviews!), I believe this table is the most value you'll get for your buck. Only one minor complaint: the little plastic tabs that go on each side of the ball holders keep popping off; they're merely decorative, though. In short, we love this table and recommend it to anyone who's looking for a well-built table. Top marks!

This table is durable, as well as conveniently adaptable for storage.
We were very pleased with the versatility of this table. Not only is its construction geared for durability, it is also designed for easy storage. The initial set-up was challenging, but once completed the table was great! It is sturdy and easily adapted for storage when necessary. Our Youth Department has fully enjoyed using the table during Youth functions.
I also want to commend Dick's Sporting Goods' staff at the Fire Wheel Store for their outstanding customer service. From the initial phone call and several follow-up calls inquiring about the table and accessories to the actual in-store purchase, I received nothing but excellent care and service. I take my hat off to the staff there for such performance. It is always great to encounter such great service in a buying experience these days! You receive my highest accolades for service.

Great Ping Pong Table
I purchased this ping pong table three weeks ago. It took me and a buddy 2 hours to put together. It is a great table. I had never shopped at Dick's before, but I am going back. They have a great selection there, including ping pong tables at a great price. . The service was far superior to Sports Authority.

Stiga 3100-So Far So Good.....
I bought the floor model three weeks ago and brought it home already assembled, so I can not comment on the assembly. So far so good, the table itself seems stable and plays well. I am no expert, but what I could tell from just bouncing a ball on the metal (outdoor) table and the wood (indoor) table is that the metal table has less bounce. I am happy with the ST3100, the only obvious upgrade would be in the quality of the net support.
