Stiga Master Series ST3100 Competition Indoor Table Tennis Table 189 189
Good Deal Easy to follow directions. 300+ pound box (loaded in store) that we broke down in the garage. It took two people four trips to carry the pieces to the basement. Once we got started it took two of us 2 1/2 hours to assemble. Looks great, better than our last ping pong table that cost almost twice as much. It is very sturdy, easy to fold up for storage although I doubt it will be getting any storage time. December 19, 2014
Great table. The 3100 is a great table tennis table. It was not too hard to assemble and it is pretty steady. Folding it up is not a problem. The wheels could be a little bigger but other that that it was a great purchase. Best table for the price. I looked at several others and this one is as good or better than some that were more expensive. A great buy for a great product. December 18, 2014
Great purchase for family Absolutely love the quality of the table! We are so pleased with our purchase. The only negative was the shipping time. We waited 3 weeks for it to be delivered. I thought it would be convenient to use the free shipping when purchased online but would never do that again. Go and pick up at store instead December 16, 2014
Satisfied Had initial problem with discounts on first attempt to order online. I called and the first person did not get the job done. Called next day and the second person's help was outstanding. Have since received the table and it is great with the set up being a little tedious but not to difficult. Great table! No problems with shipping. December 13, 2014
so far so good Got this table a few days ago and put it together yesterday. Laid out the "1000" pieces on garage floor and went to work. 4 hours. Need help to put the table tops themselves on the arms. Directions good just plan on some time. Played right away with my 9 year old and we will have plenty of good fun down the road. Great Table If you plan to not fold and move often This table is a great table for the money. Table is VERY stable when played. When folded up in order to move, the table seemed like it was somewhat weak (when folded), so after we intially folded the table to move it to it's permanent spot, I told the kids to leave it open and not fold it up. This is OK for me as we had an area in our basement designated for the table, But - if you want to constantly fold and unfold - you may need to check other options. Fiber board and constant movement of screws in fiberboard never leads to a good result!! That is what I noticed here and decided not to repeat something I knew would be bad. With the exception of the lack of durable portability, I love this table and I am glad I bought it. As an aside, when you get the table delivered, wait until you have someone mechanically inclined to help you - we put the table together in about an hour. Using power drill with phillips head and 2 - 9/16" and 7/16" rachets. It went together so fast! The directions are not great, so look at a picture of the assembled table and it will make it easier. I think if I had to put it together myself - that 3 hour assembly time seems about right - and I can not really imagine attaching the table on to the center stand (the part with the wheels) by myself all that easily - and I would think the table would be in serious jeopardy of being chipped or scratched if I tried. So, even just for that - you REALLY need a second person, possibly 2 more people, because it is kind of heavy and needs to be kept still and level. Once assembled, the thing is great. My kids and I love it. If you want to spend some fun, inexpensive quality time with your kids at home, or have a good time with your buddies doing something that almost anyone can participate in - this is hard to beat December 12, 2014
Great Table - Kids Love it! After looking at tables and reviews for several weeks I decided to give the Stiga ST3100 a try. The table is extremely heavy and definitely requires several adults to load into and out of a vehicle....FYI...just barely fits in the back of a Suburban. There are a lot of reviews complaining about this table being very difficult and time consuming to assemble. I found this to not be the case. It only took an hour and fifteen minutes to assemble and the instructions were very well written. The table was purchased for our two teenage boys and they have been playing on the table non-stop since we set it up. The table also folds up very easily with only one person and appears to be very heavy duty. Others have also indicated that the paint was coming off and ball marks were being left on the table. My boys have well over 20 hours on the table so far and I have not seen any of this. December 8, 2014
Excellent table This is a great price for an great table. It is extremely heavy so be prepared and it does take some serious time to put together. We have teenagers, they love it! December 6, 2014
the product is excellent quality Very happy with the table. I am disappointed with the paddles. The outer covering on almost all of them started to peal off within a few days. Would like to know how to fix that problem. December 5, 2014
Thrilled with table and service at South County St. Louis Store We have been eyeing a new ping pong table for 2 years. I saw the ad for Thanksgiving and called the location to see if they had any in stock. (shipping was a deal breaker). The South County St. Louis store had a few in stick so the next morning I drove 50 minutes. I knew the box would not fit in my mini van - so it would have to be unboxed. It was freezing outside and figured on a miserable time. But, again, the price was right. After I bought the table I asked the manager/supervisor (someone with some authority - but I did not catch his name) to set it beside the mini van. He said he was happy to help unbox and load it. It was very cold and he did not have to do that nor was he dressed to do that. Anyway - I let him help because the table panels were heavy. And was very grateful. Made it home, my son graciously assembled it while I relaxed. It got a small black marring on the white table border - but figured it was a small price to pay for transporting it like I did. The table is rock-solid thicker pressed wood than most. Very flat and true. It's very well constructed and took son about 4 hours to assemble while he watched a movie. Socket set/battery screwdriver. The castors are very heavy duty - and while we never plan to fold it away - it's nice to know it collapses easily. The ball trough is excellent. Would love to see some sort of storage for paddles added to it. I was initially unimpressed with the net while it was in the bag. The mounts seems cheap and figured I would end up buying a new net. Not the case at all. The mounts are heavier duty than expected and are large enough to level the two table sides with one another. The net itself stretches and works great. Since we only bought it a couple weeks ago - I have no comment regarding longevity - other than thinking it will last for years. We have, though, put 10+ hours of play on it easily and will add more over the holidays. Great deal, great service, great product. December 5, 2014
