Get the Stiga 3100 instead
Initially bought the 4100 thinking it was better (bigger wheels, thicker table etc) and it is sturdy, but I exchanged it for the 3100 and am very happy now.
The 4100 has a much inferior plastic net post system which seems very flimsy and no way to clamp the two sides of the table together (so the sides of the 4100 couldn't line up nicely).
Dick's was great about exchanging it out for the 3100 and my kids and I are VERY pleased with it.

Table is beautiful and sturdy.
Table is perfect for our basement and family "tournaments." Sturdy and functional, it easily folds up for storage. Installation and delivery went smoothly. We look forward to many years of enjoyment!

Pleases our teenage boys
We were looking for a sturdy table for our boys and their friends. None are pros but this table stands up to rugged play. It looks nice and is sturdy. I can't comment on assembly, as Dicks Sporting goods delivered (we live 60 miles from the nearest Dick's store) and assembled for 157.00. Did arrive with a very small ding in the table paint and a cracked plastic protective piece on one of the corners. The delivery guy pointed this out and we were shipped a new corner piece (easily installed with two screws) and a paint sample to fix the ding. Both were what I would consider very minor for shipping such a large item.Well worth the price. We are happy with the whole transaction and the table itself.

Great Table
Bought this table for Christmas for the family and we love it. Very solid, easy to fold (up & down), easy to move around, and great play. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and went together without issues. The table is very heavy and you will want three people during part of the assembly.

Great top!
This table plays great, the ball gets great traction for big reactions on a spinning shot. The table is very thick, very heavy, and makes the action fast and furious. I don't know why I waited so long to get a good table. It takes about an hour to set up and you will need help just to cary a single top, but it's all worth it!

a SNAP to assemble!!!
Love this table! However it is HEAVY!!! The guys at Dick's Sporting Goods WARNED me of this as well. You HAVE to have at least one more adult help you put the tops on the struts (frame). The design is beautiful, and it is VERY easy to put together. READ ALL THE DIRECTIONS... don't overlook the NOTE/NOTES. Take your time and read through the directions before you even pick up one part, nut, or bolt. Then read them again, while putting it together. I never swore once. The bounce is great, love the blue tops, the apron, the net, the casters for leveling on the legs. Worth every penny! The old adage is TRUE. You get what YOU PAY FOR. Don't buy a cheap table. The STiga ST4100 is a fantastic ping pong table for the money. I will have this table for a very long time.

Grrrrreat!
This table is extremely sturdy! i love it and i use it every day. the only thing is when assembling it the surfaces of the table are extremely heavy. make sure you have some strong people to help!

Challenging but fun!
I researched several tables and read every single review that I could find on the ST4100. I based my decision on this table the same way I base most of my decisions in general...on value. This is a reasonbly priced, 1" table that has higher end features of quality and durability. Though I have read some of the 'horror story' reviews about assembly, parts missing, packaging, damaged items, I did not encounter any of these problems on my own. I don't doubt that other people had these problems but I suspect that can happen with any product you buy and shouldn't necessarily reflect poorly on any single product. The real difference should be based on how the problem is corrected by the manufacturer. If you decide to buy this table, just be aware of the following: 1) package is heavy (250-lbs.) and will not fit in a car or SUV, you will need a flat bed trailer or pick-up truck. Ask for a new, unopened package; 2) it takes 2 adults approximately 2 hours to assemble; 3) there is a flaw with pre-assembled brackets that need to be reversed (left & right side need to be reversed but doesn't require drilling any new holes (it's very easy to correct and takes less than 5min.). I only knew about this issue because I read it in a review and it's true); 4) don't be surprised once you complete assembly if the table is not perfectly level or if the two halves are not even height. Just follow the simple insructions on leveling and evening the table halves and you will be just fine. We've had the table for approximately one month and it has brought lots of joy and healthy competition among our family and friends.

Very solid table
Instructions for assembly were easy to follow and there were just a few minor issues with pre-assembled components. It did take three adults to get the table together with two lifting and one guiding onto the struts. Once together, table is easy to fold/unfold and easy to move around. Very solid table and fun to use.
