Stiga Master Series ST4100 Indoor Table Tennis Table 4.3 5 57 57
update to my Dec. '14 post re: space between halves For those of you who are having problems with the space between the table halves: be sure the braces under the table are fully extended. This doesn't eliminate the space entirely, but it keeps it to about 1/2" or so which I believe you need to properly fold the table. February 13, 2015
sooooooo heavy Ok it is a great table. My kids and I have great time playing. It's sooooooo heavy. It took me 6 hrs to assemble it.but it was worth it. February 11, 2015
Stiga ST4100 Got the table for just under $400. Took about 1.5 hours with my wife helping. Directions were good. Decent table. January 11, 2015
Great Table... Stiga Master Series ST4100 Indoor Table Tennis Table This table is a solid product and my boys love it. I ordered the table online and picked up at my local store. The staff at the store was very helpful and explained that my mini-van was not going to be a suitable vehicle to transport the table. They were 100% correct. It is very heavy, requiring a pickup truck and two people to move. Check the box for damage before you leave the store, as you don't want to be taking this back to the store. Not difficult to assemble, but you want to pay attention to the instructions and not assume. January 6, 2015
A little effort for a lot of fun You can get the table into your basement, but it is heavy! You need at least 1-2 hours to assemble. But if you had to do it twice, the 2nd time would only take you an hour or less. Its not hard, it just takes time. You definitely need 2-4 people to get the tops of the table attached to the legs. But the table is strong, stable, and the net is very good. For the money, this is a great deal! If I had to do it all over again, spend the $150 and let Dick's do the heavy lifting and assembling. They can probably get it done in less than an hour, because they have done so many. I've spent many hours researching different sites including everyone on Amazon. This was still the best deal for the money and I could pick it up at my local Dicks store. January 5, 2015
Great Table Other reviewers were spot on with how heavy this thing is, it is much heavier than I anticipated. I would highly recommend getting it delivered unless you have a few strong neighbors. Assembly wasn't hard but would recommend having two extra friends for attaching the tabletop to the arms. After the table is assembled it is very easy to fold/unfold and moving it around is a piece of cake. It looks great and plays great as well. I would not hesitate in recommending this table to anyone. Worth it! Never written a review before but after relying on them for this purchase, I thought I better contribute. I was torn between this model(4100) and the 3100. I chose the 4100 based on a review that talked about the assembly on the 4100 being easier in that you do not install anything into the board itself. The review said this was a big difference that is worth the price difference(over $100). I believe that review was correct. The box for this table is really heavy(2 strong folks or 3 average strength folks). The assembly was easy, all parts were included, the table was in great shape. Lifting the table sides onto the base requires 2 people holding the table and 1 person guiding it into place. This table is solid ( I have kids so they have already been testing its strength and it passes with flying colors). There is a gap between the two sides but I think it is normal and of no substance because it is right at the net. I only mention this because it was in several of the reviews but let me assure you it is much to do about nothing. I am completely satisfied with the table. It folds up easily, rolls into place and it is worth the price! January 1, 2015
Very sturdy Table! This was purchased as a Christmas gift for the family. First note, as others have said, the box the table comes in is extremely heavy. Recommend 3 or 4 people to move it. We used two furniture dollies to roll it into the house. Assembly took about 45 minutes. When lifting the table tops onto the frame we had 2 people holding the top and two people guiding it into the frame posts. The table gets used several times a day and is a huge hit with friends and extended family. December 31, 2014
great table Took about an hour to set up. Amazingly heavy to transport, but looks great, plays great, and sounds like a quality table. December 28, 2014
Almost perfect... Purchased this as a Christmas present. First of all, the box is huge and weighs a ton. It took two Dick's employees and myself to load it into a trailer attached to my minivan. Once home, it took two of us to bring down the table boards into the basement. I had my father help me put the frame/wheels together...took maybe 45 minutes. However, we ran into issues when it was time to install the tables. You will need at least three people (two to hold the table up, and one to align it into the poles. Therefore, we had to call in reinforcements. One of the tables has a chunk missing out of it. Going to call their manufacturer to see what they can do to fix it. Luckily, it's near the net, so the ball would. It be affected by it. The other issue we ran into was that the factory installed one of the locking brackets backward. We found that out when trying to fold the table. It was a 10 minute fix, but obviously would have wished the factory did it correctly. Wheels are of high quality and is easily moveable once the tables are in their "up" position. One person is able to put the table up or down...very easy to do. The table itself is 1" thick and allows the balls to bounce nicely...but again, extremely heavy. Bottom's built really well. I have some minor grievances with it, but definitely not a show stopper.
