Rated 5 out of 5 by 24 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by One of the Best I love this glove, it's hands down the best glove I have ever owned. Just the sound of the ball hitting the pocket and the ease of getting the ball out to throw are amazing. It's made out in Nocona, TX between Witchita Falls, TX and Dallas in a small mom and pop type factory. Check out Texas Country Reporter on YouTube there is a video showing the factory and manufacture process. Breaking in the glove is easy "JUST PLAY CATCH". You can also put some of Nokona's leather conditioner, put that on and take a couple of baseballs and a belt, now just tighten the belt with the balls in the pocket. Just do that when you're not playing. Another thing, "DO NOT USE HEAT TO BREAK IN". Even steaming, why would you expose leather to water and heat. You want to stretch the leather fibers not break them. It's a great glove and should last a lifetime. May 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great quality glove I am very happy with this purchase, although it was quite expensive. But in this case you definitely get what you pay for! April 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great glove My son plays 2nd base on a high school team. We started out with a cheaper glove but it didn't take long to figure out we needed a good durable glove to get through his high school years and beyond. This glove is every bit worth the money. It's strong and stylish and fits perfect. Thanks Dick's for carrying such great products. April 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome glove I bought this glove for my son and he says "the glove is an amazing glove and it has a great feel to it." Absolutely love that it is American made that was the biggest reason I bought it. April 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Glove Ever! This is a terrific glove. Soft feel, and broke in relatively quickly just throwing in the backyard with the kids. April 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by love this glove love everything about this glove so far. still breaking it in, but it is going well. should be ok for first game of the season in a few weeks. wife makes fun of me watching tv with my glove on. am a big Rawlings fan, and was planning on going that direction, but the tradition, the made in the USA, the under-the-radar of the old school name (the real baseball guys over 30 all know about Nokona, but most of the kids don't) and the quality of the hand made sent me in the Nokona direction. couldn't be happier. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Glove This is my second Nokona glove. They are very well made, responsive, and use high-quality materials. The glove retains its shape well and is an extension of the player's hand. Suggest using Dick's steaming service to quicken the break-in period. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. Rated 5 out of 5 by Classic American-Made Quality That's Worth Every Penny I've had mine for going on two years now ... best father's day gift I've received. I wish I would have known about Nokona years ago. From the moment you first slip the glove over your hand, you know you are holding quality. This is classic American-made quality that's worth every penny! Professional play or a backyard toss with your kid, select from Nokona's many glove styles to fit your needs. The more opportunities I take to use it, the better it gets. I am not overstating when I say its light weight and quick breaking in period make this glove a natural extension of your play. Don't hesitate to buy a Nokona glove. You won't be disappointed. November 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth the money I bought this glove for myself and could not be happier. High quality leather and craftsmanship and it looks great. The price is less than other high quality gloves but those more expensive gloves aren't near as good as this American made Nokona. Breaking in is easy with the Nokona leather treatment and using the glove to play catch. You don't need to do breaking in gimmicks like putting it in the microwave or steamer. Just use it! Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome quality This glove was worth the price and it will last a lifetime. It was a little on the high side price wise but you get what you pay for and being made in the US somewhat justifies it. You can spend much more on a Rawlings that's made in a Philippines sweatshop so this is well worth the money. It's good to keep the money in the states and to have a glove made by someone who actually knows what baseball is. Easy break in and great feel too. But one, you'll love it. October 22, 2013
