I just spent a week in the Eastern Sierra's and would have missed out on a 2 lbs. Rainbow Trout if I didn't have the Rebel Critter (Crawfish) lure in my tackle box. The color and action of the lure was the perfect combo for the East Walker River.

Overall, a good purchase. These are light line lures, so an ultralight with no greater than 6lb is a preferred setup. The popper had great action, and was killer on the jumbo gills. Surprisingly not so well with the bass. Only downside with the set was that the grasshopper was extremely light and difficult to cast. However, with my setup was able to traverse the brush lines off the shore with reasonable success.
Overall happy with the purchase. Well built, and best of all, caught fish.

I have used all four lures that came in this set. All four lures did get the attention of fish. Top water lure works great, the other three do work but watch using in to shallow of water, they will snag quick, don't want to lose these.

Every tackle box should have these lures in it. When ever I switch from my larger tackle box to a smaller one for kayaking I make sure all 4 of these are in there. Can't beat the price either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Greg Fish wont stop biting my line!
Its 2012 and i've had no luck catching any fish all season so far. I was shopping in Dick's looking for new line and maybe a new lure. I spotted this one and thought it looked promising. My fishing buddy had also said this was his favorite lure. I bought the "Grasshopper" looking one and tossed it in the water. Within seconds i got a fish on the hook. It was a sunfish but i was supprised at how fast the lure was attacked. I took the fish off the line and released it and threw the line back in the water and started to reel in slow. BOOM a nice sized bass comes up to the surface and chomps down the lure. I reel him in and release. This kept happening all night. I caught 8 fish in 1hour 30mins. This is definately one of my favorite lures now. If you want fish to go nuts over your lure, for the price, you cant go wrong with this one.
