The Hammer Lite was an upgrade for me. I'm a novice but can feel a difference in the quality compared to the cheaper paddles I've used. I'm very happy with the Hammer Lite.

I feel sad for the money I paid for this thing ,I've been playing table tennis for more than 20 years , this is the worst paddle I ever hold in my hand . I don't understand why STIGA is making this thing<is there any why to get my money back PLEASE?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ted Fantastic Racket!
This is a great table tennis racket. I play every weekend at a neighbor's house and for years had been using the cheapo rackets he has. I finally splurged and bought the Hammer Lite and noticed an immediate difference in my quality of play. I'm not a pro by any means, but if you already have the basics of table tennis down pat, this racket WILL improve your game. The spin is strong, but not extreme, and the ball jumps off the racket nicely when you smash it. I was VERY surprised by the light weight, and after using a heavy, cheaper racket for so long, it took me a couple games to get used to. I love it now though and wouldn't use anything else. Playing in a confined space like a garage, you'll appreciate how quickly you can swing the Hammer Lite around. It's more like an extension of your arm as opposed to a separate object. Despite the light weight, it feels well-built and I'm confident it will last me through many games. As a final note, make sure to get yourself a racket bag to protect it when not being used, and a racket care kit to keep the rubber faces conditioned and performing their best. With proper care, you'll own this racket a LONG time. It's a blast to play with. If you're looking for a feather light racket, buy the Hammer Lite. You won't regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HamGunner Excellent paddle for the money!
I really enjoy this paddle. Its weight and control are excellent and I really have no complaints. I've never used a "serious money" racket, but I've used lots of cheaper models and there is certainly a big difference between those and the Hammer Lite! I used a Hammer Lite prior to purchasing my own, so I knew what I was getting... but I'm still very pleased.

Rated 3 out of 5 by JayM Seems to get the job done
This paddle plays pretty well for the money. Better paddles exist for sure, but you are jumping into a whole new price range to get at them. I recommend this paddle for any decent player who is looking for an adequate paddle for recreational play.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ron Dunn Light & Fast
I used to show up at my friends table tennis tournaments with my old generic paddle and get beat up badly. I noticed that everyone that played well had a Stiga paddle. So I made the investment. The "Hammer Lite" is a medium priced paddle and the lightest one. It allows me to hit harder and maintain consistency and control. I really like the lightness of this paddle, it allows me to move quickly with no fatigue over hours of play. Now everyone wants to use my paddle :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Yitzer the ping pong master!! Great racket! Satisfied! Worth the money
This is a great racket out there. Extremey lightweight! Makes every racket feel heavy. Its great because its light but you still have a lot of power. This thing got a lot of control in it. The reason I rated this 4 stars is because I have the Stiga Cannon. that is the best racket. If you have the extra money, get the cannon. These expensive rackets are't a gimmick. you really tell a difference.GET THIS. IF HAVE THE EXTRA MONEY, GET THE CANNON!!!!!
