Rated 4 out of 5 by I would look carefully before opening it Make sure that the blade doesn't come with a dent in it before you open the package. Although it doesn't make too much of a difference to me, it doesn't look good on any paddle. Also, try not to accidentally drop it because the clear tabs tend to easily pop out of the handle. Not only that, but you don't want to break the handle itself from shock as a result of a fall. Although I think it could be cheaper, it was still worth it. I like that it is light in weight, which allows me to swing and strike much faster than what I used to play with, not to mention the extra control in the spin. However, I don't like how the rubber easily dirties up, so I have to clean it often. I love ping-pong so much that I try to find free time in college to play as much as possible. DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE A "LOFTY" GRIP PLAY STYLE!!! You will easily fling it out of your hands. October 16, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by "Great while it lasted." Got this as a Christmas present and I thought "WOW". My game went to a new level right off. Fast, good spin and decent control. Very happy with the results. Three years later and the lack of rubber durability is evident. Lots of chips around the edges. That's o.k. though, I think the blade is good enough to "fix up" with new rubbers that can be purchased on-line. More advanced rubbers that can be custom assembled to my ever increasing level of play. Ever increasing thanks to my "Sabre". October 7, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Stiga Paddle Review I returned it. I would love to have a good Stiga table tennes paddle, but this is the second Stiga I have gotten from Dick's with dented rubber. The way the paddles are packaged is flawed. I suspect the handle of one paddle presses down on the rubber of the one packaged below it while they are boxed. March 3, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Will improve your game but short life Loved it while it was fresh. Have had this blade for about 1 year. Rubers have lost there tac after about 200 hours of play. This is my first racket in this price and quality range so not sure if this is typical life expectancy. November 30, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Paddle for Competitive Household Play :P I got this paddle for my birthday about 2 years ago and was so excited because I had a step up on all my other family members. I agree with the review saying this paddle has a small handle - I'm 15 and 6'2" with large hands for my age. Being very light as well, it took a bit of getting used (coming from a cheap, heavy, rectangular-handled paddle). On the plus side, it had noticeably more spin and power than anything I had experienced before, with a ton of grip to the rubber. Because it was light, it allowed mobility and easy offense. I think it's geared a little more towards offense because of its weight, but that was fine with me. It WAS a great paddle and fun to play with, until I lost a crucial point and slammed the racket head down on the table. The paddle broke in half and I learned my lesson (this is not why I took off a star :P). It's my birthday again, and I'm looking for a bit more higher end paddles, like the Carbon from Stiga instead of getting this again. And no, I will not break my nice paddles anymore. I'm past the paddle-breaking stage! July 31, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great while it lasted At first this paddle was great, with excellent control and good spin. It made a significant difference for me upgrading from a "cheap" paddle to this one. I play about an hour a day, and this lasted in good shape about one-and-a-half months with regular cleaning. Now it's been three months, and I've given up on it. The rubber is no longer sticky at all and it's very difficult to get any spin on the ball. But worse, the rubber and sponge have begun to peel back and flake off around the edges on both sides. I've actually switched back to a "cheap" paddle with better results! I have ordered another brand as a replacement. I don't recommend this one unless you don't mind replacing it every couple months. Rated 5 out of 5 by Undefeated first time with new paddle My first time using this new paddle, I ran the table with my buddies that are pretty good players. I won like 7 games in a row. I let someone else use my paddle and they won to. I can play, but never go undefeated! I highly recommend this paddle. J.P. July 9, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great beginning paddle Great overall paddle for people with a beginner to intermediate skill level. March 4, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Aggressive If you're looking for a paddle that is specifically for practicing power with good control this is it. However, if it's not top spin, then getting any other type of spin with this paddle is rather difficult. You can put pretty good backspin on the ball but I have not been able to get much side spin or good serves with this paddle. It's just made for people who want to loop. January 21, 2015
