Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by decent paddle great spin and fantastic control, but not the strongest and very fragile. Great paddle as long as you don't let little siblings get ahold of it. May 11, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Paddle Broke the First Night! We were playing doubles and two of the people went for the same ball. They barely hit their paddles together and the paddle broke at the handle. I couldn't believe it. The $15 paddles have seemed to hold up better than this $60 paddle. February 25, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Paddle Seems OK for Me This paddle is a replacement for a less expensive Stiga paddle that I have used for 4-5 years. It was getting worn out. I am a casual player at 77 years old. I hope to qualify for the Senior Nationals in September 2014. The paddle is about the right weight for me. The speed seems good and I am able to put a little more chop and spin on the ball. I am not quick enough to bang with the top players so I use chop and spin to try for an advantage. I have only used the paddle twice, but it seems to work well for me. August 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing paddle Best paddle I have ever owned. People call me crazy when I pull it out to play. But so worth it on their face when they loose. June 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Racket for the money Let me first start, that I have used several rackets in the past few months in our work league. I have used the following paddles, Butterfly Trebuchet, Stiga HammerLite, Stiga Cannon (This racket), Stiga Carbo7, Killerspin Jet 600, Killerspin Jet 800. From all of these paddles, the Stiga Cannon, Stiga Carbo7, and the Killerspin Jet 600 fits my style of playing the best. I am a primarily a defensive player that can spin the heck out of the ball, I typically do not slam. It does not mean that I can not slam, but I prefer to beat my opponents through ball placement and spin. Let me give you some subjective observation for the above paddles. Paddle / Speed / Spin / Control / Weight / Best Quality Stiga HammerLight / 6 / 6 / 9 / super light / weight/control Stiga Cannon / 7 / 8 / 9 / medium / control/loops Stiga Carbo7 / 9 / 8.5 / 8.5 / medium / speed/loops Butterfly Trebuchet / 6.5 / 8.5 / 8 / medium / spin/control Killerspin Jet 600 / 7.5 / 8 / 8 / med/heavy / speed/loops Killerspin Jet 800 / 9.5 / 9 / 6 / heavy / speed/slams I hope this helps. Rated 2 out of 5 by Ok Paddle, not overly Impressed This paddle is ok, not overly excited about it but it does the job. For $60 I was expecting more. I had the Hammer Lite but returned it because I thought it was missing something because it was so light, go figure, hence the name. The Cannon is heavier and ratings are higher but I didn't see or feel the inflated performance ratings. I am going to keep the Cannon just because, and buy the Hammer Lite again. I also played with the Stiga Supreme ($50), and the Hammer Lite for $40 outperformed them both. Keep in mind this is coming from a beginner/intermediate player. April 5, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by good till it breaks had the paddle for less than a year, really happy with play. took care of racquet by frequently cleaning rubber and storing in paddle bag. Paddle had never experience any shock by means of table banging or floor drops. while delivering a monster backhand the paddle broke in two as is if it had smashed on the table. paddle went flying while the handle remained in my hand. was really happy with the paddle till that point. gonna replace with a professional grade paddle March 24, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Perfect I like it. The rubber is perfect also the weigh is perfect to play. February 20, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good spin and control racket First, let me say that I am an not some undiscovered phenom. I am a mid-level table tennis player. Have been playing on and off since childhood (now 47), but began playing with much more frequency and against increasingly skilled opponensts over past few years. So, this review is coming from someone who plays to win but is you average every day Joe who just so happens to enjoy competivie table tennis. This racket is not for everyone. The "ratings" are high for all 3 areas noted: Spin, Control and Speed. This racket is not for a player who's strength is speed. The ball comes off the paddle fine for a controlled shot, but it certainly doesn't dart or rocket of of it. I've played with paddles with far more jump and thus far more suited for a speed game. So, if speed is your game, this is not the paddle for you. Fortuantely, speed is not my game. This racket is for lower to mid-level players who's strenghts are in spin and control. This racket will elevate your game. Of course, practice in general will do that, too. And gradually playing against better skilled opponents will do wonders. But, this racket surely will offer some benefits in and of itself. If spin and control are your game and you're looking for a reasonably priced pre-assembled paddle, this is an excellent paddle with which to begin to improve your game. February 18, 2013
