Ok Paddle, not overly Impressed
This paddle is ok, not overly excited about it but it does the job. For $60 I was expecting more. I had the Hammer Lite but returned it because I thought it was missing something because it was so light, go figure, hence the name. The Cannon is heavier and ratings are higher but I didn't see or feel the inflated performance ratings. I am going to keep the Cannon just because, and buy the Hammer Lite again. I also played with the Stiga Supreme ($50), and the Hammer Lite for $40 outperformed them both. Keep in mind this is coming from a beginner/intermediate player.

good till it breaks
had the paddle for less than a year, really happy with play. took care of racquet by frequently cleaning rubber and storing in paddle bag. Paddle had never experience any shock by means of table banging or floor drops.
while delivering a monster backhand the paddle broke in two as is if it had smashed on the table. paddle went flying while the handle remained in my hand.
was really happy with the paddle till that point. gonna replace with a professional grade paddle

Good spin and control racket
First, let me say that I am an not some undiscovered phenom. I am a mid-level table tennis player. Have been playing on and off since childhood (now 47), but began playing with much more frequency and against increasingly skilled opponensts over past few years.
So, this review is coming from someone who plays to win but is you average every day Joe who just so happens to enjoy competivie table tennis.
This racket is not for everyone.
The "ratings" are high for all 3 areas noted: Spin, Control and Speed.
This racket is not for a player who's strength is speed. The ball comes off the paddle fine for a controlled shot, but it certainly doesn't dart or rocket of of it. I've played with paddles with far more jump and thus far more suited for a speed game. So, if speed is your game, this is not the paddle for you.
Fortuantely, speed is not my game. This racket is for lower to mid-level players who's strenghts are in spin and control. This racket will elevate your game. Of course, practice in general will do that, too. And gradually playing against better skilled opponents will do wonders. But, this racket surely will offer some benefits in and of itself.
If spin and control are your game and you're looking for a reasonably priced pre-assembled paddle, this is an excellent paddle with which to begin to improve your game.

Nice paddle
True to the other reviews I read about the Stiga Cannon paddle; it is lightweight, and fast! It has improved my game as a beginner intermediate. My partners have commented on my good shots in doubles. They are pleasantly surprised as I am too.

The Best Paddle for the Money
I have three different paddles and this is by far the best paddle I have ever used. For the money, you can't bet it. The Cannon has a tremendous amount of spin and the control is unbelievable. You won't be disappointed!!!

I like it
I am surprised how Stiga Cannon performs. The only thing is the slant of edge of the blade against your middle finger, it feels a bit steep and 70-80% of the time I am realizing it during the play. I am forced to make an adjustment how I hold the racket, which is just a bit further away from the blade. It does not seem to affect much, but somewhere it makes you realize the trouble of thinking about it. Other than that I am about 90% happy with it and would completely agree with the performance ratings for the racket. Well, perhaps I would've corrected one thing - Speed rating, from 99 to 90, but, hey... I am only human, and I could be wrong :)
