Rated 5 out of 5 by B Storm Tested - Great Organization Features - Room for Four During our second outing with the tent this weekend we had back-to-back thunderstorms with heavy rain (2 inches a night) - not a drop inside! The winds were stout and I was concerned that the profile of the tent would create an issue, but the strength provided by the rain-fly. I'm sure most modern tents have similar features, but I like the features that keep the tent neat and organized: pockets on the ceiling to store your stuff, a carry bag, bag for the stakes, and a bag for the poles, pouches built-in the rain-fly for the guy-lines. Added bonus - I'm 6' 5" and can stand up in this tent...which is really nice when working to pack up bedding. This tent will sleep 4 comfortably - 6 is a stretch. We used two of the low-profile queen sized air mattresses from CostCo and had a few inches of space between them. July 15, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Leann Great tent at a decent price We have taken our new tent on 3 camping trips so far. We have experienced high winds, rain, and hail. I never expected this tent to withstand the hail, but it survived unscathed. The winds nearly brought us down, but the storm came up before we had time to stake the guy wires. I think that added support would have helped keep us from having to stand in the corners with our backs to the wind to help support it. The floor of the tent is the same material as the rest of the tent. Some tents have a tarp-like floor. We bought the footprint from Eureka for under the tent. Unfortunately, it was too big and we had to cut it. Because we have two big dogs, we bought a regular tarp for the floor inside so we would have dog nails rip the tent floor. July 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by weedus Big enough to stand up in. Big enough to stand up in. Not to hard to setup with 2 people. Tent zipper gets stuck sometimes but nothing out of the ordinary. can fit 2 queen air mattresses. April 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by John50 Great tent I have owned this tent for a year now and have used it on multiple occasions. It has stood up to wind and rain and has not leaked once. Setting it up takes a few minutes and can easily be done by one person. I would advise you to get a floor saver to put under the tent to protect the floor, but other than that, the tent is well equipped. It has two four mesh pockets and a center hanging roof mesh pocket, although the latter can be high and gets in the way of a hanging dome light. It also has hook on each of the corners to use for hanging clothes or extra mesh pockets. Ventilation is excellent and the rainfly works well when needed. Because of the straight walls it does tender to suffer buffeting from winds, but with guy ropes tied properly the tent stays put, even in higher winds. I am so impressed I am buying the 12 person tent for the family now. March 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by billythecamper Easy setup and tall The tent is easy to setup and although haven't been in the rain, seems weatherproof. Lots of ventilation. Recommend a ground cover as the floor is lightweight. We purchased cheap rugs to place inside on the floor to prevent damage from chairs and tables. October 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sidney Great Tent! This year I have camped in my new Copper Canyon 6 from coastal Carolina to Algonquin Park and have found it to be an excellecnt tent. No issues with it at all! September 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by BMJB Spacious, Holds up Great!! We researched several tents before buying the Copper Canyon 6. We found the set up and take down to be clear and uncomplicated. We followed the directions and sealed the seams. We had it set up for a several days in the back yard before heading out, the tent was completely dry after 3 rainy nights. When we took it to the Army Corp of Eng park on Pine River and then to the Mississippi Headwaters, we found it to hold up extremely well. It rained several nights, but it was dry inside. The pouches are very handy, the zippers were easy to use and the construction is solid. The screens on all sides provided good airflow for both night time and during the day to air out. We hung a tent fan/light from the center and it worked great. It is so spacious especially tall, being able to stand up is a real treat. We are looking forward to many more trips with this tent. Rated 5 out of 5 by PDM Perfect Finally I can stand up in a tent! Great tent for me an my wife to do some camping in UT and Idaho, Was a little concerned about the thin layer of the floor, but an extra tarp took care of my worries. The rest of the tent is perfect with plenty of room. Delivery was quick and the price was right. August 13, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by in2motion Great tent, easy set up! I bought this tent on recommendations from an experienced camper and research on mid-priced tents. I needed a family tent that I could set up easily on my own and boy, did I find it! We've taken it on two trips thus far, the first was a rainy weekend. I set it up in 10 minutes or so in light rain and somehow the inside stayed dry throughout the weekend, even with the puddles on the tarp underneath. I would have liked for the tent floor to be tarp strength, but is the same material as the rest of the tent. The zip door is also great with a flap covering the zipper. The windows are large, but they just hang down when open, a little awkward. I love the idea of the power port, maybe another on the back of the tent for added convenience. I love the side pockets, just enough room for my keys & phone. The cargo net on the top is so snug to the top (& high), I'm not quite sure of it's usefulness. I love the many hooks, but we didn't use them. Again, very high which gives you an idea of tent height. I'm 5'5 and had plenty of headroom. We had plenty of walking space with a full-sized aerobed & two groundpads. Take down was quick and the tent easily fit back into the bag. Make sure the door is open and roll toward the front to get the air out. August 6, 2013
