Rated 2 out of 5 by Jbyrd Not worth the money! I have 2 daughters who used this bat and wasn't impressed with the results.also let other girls use it and same results.looks good, feels good but what a piece of junk.checked bat the other day and sounds broken.bought both girls cf5 -11 and WOW!!! They are both drilling line drives well into the outfield for home runs almost every game. July 12, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Adriana Hate it! I have the Bustos bat & I absolutely HATE it. It flexes SO bad. It doesn't have a "pop" at all when you hit it, it's more like a "tink". The sweet spot ranges very small & I'm lucky when I hit it to the fence. I can barely make it out of the infield. It's upsetting. I do not recommend this bat at all. June 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by softballdad616 Great bat Great Value Bought this bat for my daughter a first year softball player (10 years old). She has absolutely crushed the ball all year moved up to 12U and just kept hitting. Their is defiantly a deference between this bat and the other pieces of metal that girls swing(cheap bats). This is a great mid grade bat and at -13 you can not beat it for what you get this is sure thing for a starter/mid-level player. I wouldn't suggest using it in batting cages and/or in cold weather. Rated 5 out of 5 by fastpitchsoftball14 amazing so my friend on my allstar team just bought this new bat, I wanted to try it . it had never been used or hit with and I had no warm up. I go up to bat and smack the ball 10 feet into the outfield. I highly suggest this bat. June 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Boo No sting great hits Really wanted to buy her the cf5 but she liked the feel of this bat. Hits great, no sting- I've noticed the girls using the cf5 just don't have the strength to take advantage of the bats power and stings there hands bad when its cold.. This bat is great for smaller girls- 31 in only 18oz May 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by sj1637 Awesome Bat purchased for my daughter - she loves the bat, and her hitting distance improved immediately. May 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by bill great ratio My 12 year old needed a longer bat. I was excited about this bat because she got 2" of additional length at a cost of only 1/2 oz of additional weight. I see many girls using this bat at games. It is also a very good value from a pricing standpoint. April 30, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by BigRed'sDad Not for power hitters I bought this bat for my daughter last year and she loved it. She always made solid contact with the ball and the bat had great pop. She has always had a pretty powerful swing, and since she has strawberry blonde hair, she earned the nickname "Big Red". Although she has only grown a couple of inches since last season, her swing has become extremely powerful and I noticed that the ball wasn't quite jumping off the bat as I expected it would this spring. At first I thought the bat might be dead, but realized that her younger sister was still getting good results with it. After picking it up to hit some grounders at practice the other day, it dawned on me. The handle on this bat as a TREMENDOUS amount of flex to it. So much that you can put one hand on the barrel and the other on the knob and physically make the bat bend without much effort. I tried this with the old bat and a new bat in the store with the same result. If your daughter is a singles/gap hitter, I would fully recommend this bat. However, if your daughter is the type that can pound the ball over the outfielders heads, I would recommend going with a bat with a much stiffer handle. April 30, 2013
