great ratio My 12 year old needed a longer bat. I was excited about this bat because she got 2" of additional length at a cost of only 1/2 oz of additional weight. I see many girls using this bat at games. It is also a very good value from a pricing standpoint. April 30, 2013
Not for power hitters I bought this bat for my daughter last year and she loved it. She always made solid contact with the ball and the bat had great pop. She has always had a pretty powerful swing, and since she has strawberry blonde hair, she earned the nickname "Big Red". Although she has only grown a couple of inches since last season, her swing has become extremely powerful and I noticed that the ball wasn't quite jumping off the bat as I expected it would this spring. At first I thought the bat might be dead, but realized that her younger sister was still getting good results with it. After picking it up to hit some grounders at practice the other day, it dawned on me. The handle on this bat as a TREMENDOUS amount of flex to it. So much that you can put one hand on the barrel and the other on the knob and physically make the bat bend without much effort. I tried this with the old bat and a new bat in the store with the same result. If your daughter is a singles/gap hitter, I would fully recommend this bat. However, if your daughter is the type that can pound the ball over the outfielders heads, I would recommend going with a bat with a much stiffer handle. April 30, 2013
Hot Bat I have bought my 10 year old daughter many different bats from the CF5 to the Easton Synge & she hits the ball twice as far with this bat than any of the others! The -13 this bat features allows her to use a longer bat without it being too heavy which gives her the advantage of a huge sweet spot! This is the 2nd Demarini Bustos we've owned because she's out grown the 1st but it is still being used by the smaller girls on the team & its seen thousands of hits & its still going strong. So yes they really hold up well & the price won't break the bank!!!! I highly recommend this bat you won't be disappointed & the hitters confidence will sky rocket!!! April 17, 2013

Provided more power In her first weekend of using this bat she hit to the outfield 3 times including a home run. No bat can fix a swing, but she had a good swing, this gave her power. Love this bat! February 20, 2013
This bat is good but I had this bat and i loved it! it improved my hitting a lot..my coach also liked the bat and used mine at practice alot..she ended up denting it but since its such a good product im looking forward to getting a new one! That she wont be useing.. February 3, 2013
