Great bat
Bat was on sale, so I picked up as extra. Have I complaints as the kids seem to hit the ball hard.

Dented on first hit
My son dented the bat on his very first contact with a ball. Would not recommend to anyone.

Great Bat!
Great bat for my nine year old! It the perfect weight and length to help improve his swing. I have recommended to a few of his teammates that were looking for a new bat. They have more than a few options for shape, length and weight! Great purchase!

Hits well but dents easily
2 kids on my sons 8 y/o travel team used this model bat. 1st - my son hit a bunch to the fence 200 yards or so in the beginning of the season but then the bat dented all over and I thought it was from kids messing around in the dug-out. 2nd - Another kid used the the same model bat, hit very well and his bat made it thru the entire season with no problem. Maybe there was just a bad batch of bats last year because Dicks probably would have discontinued the sale of it knowing that it was junk. I'm going to buy another one this year because its cheap and see what happens.

Dented easily
Like many other reviewers, we experienced serious denting within a month of purchasing. We called Demarini and they said that this bat is not for consistent hitters...it's for children still learning to bat. That would have been helpful information for the Dick's salesman to know. We were directed to the M2M - a much stiffer bat...well, I would hope it was a better bat at over $100 more than this one.

Awful
Worst bat ever purchased, dented terribly the first practice. Don't waste your time or money, spend a bit more and buy a quality bat.

Oh NO!!
Really enjoyed this bat at first. My 8 year old is a county all-star. And he's out performing the bat. He put a nice dent in it. After i talked to the manufacturer they'll mail me a higher quality bat because it has a 1 year warranty. They also told me this bat is for 5-8 year olds that are just learning to bat. My sons distance did improve with this bat.
