Great set -- worth the purchase
Got these right after Christmas and love them. I started a specific weight training program and needed a wide variety of weights. I bought these because of the great reviews & they did not disappoint.
The weight stack is quick and easy to change out. The sliding pin that holds the weights in place has a magnet on it, so you feel it 'click' into place -- that's how you know it's locked and secure. I have never had any problem with the weights 'coming undone' as another poster insinuated.
I also prefer these over some other brands because they are so compact and easy to store. They don't need a special tray to hold them -- they're square on the bottom so they won't roll away. I keep them right underneath my desk when I'm not using them and they don't take up a lot of room.
In short, I highly recommend this weight set to anyone looking for a small adjustable set for home. I've been lifting for awhile and I have actually reached the point where I need more than 24 pounds on at least half of my exercises -- so I am upgrading to the Power Block 50s soon.

Easy to use - must do it right
The weights are nice, they look sharp and in general they are easy to use. However, if the pin isn't pushed in all the way, or if at an angle it will slip out during use and could be very dangerous. The idea behind using weights is to be able to put them up over your head in many instances. I don't feel safe doing that with these.

High quality product. Easy for beginners.
I love these weights. I have been using them for the past month doing Chalene Extreme. They are easy to use and are very sturdy. They take up very little space. Great product, well worth the cost.

Excellent quality
These weights are great. The pin that locks them in place has two prongs on each side and a magnet to lock it in place during use. I am never worried about the weight plates coming loose like I have seen in other reviews. I am so glad I went with these weights, they were well worth the money!

GREAT PRODUCT
I strongly recommend you purchase this product if you are trying to increase your fitness and weight level. There is no point in buying all the different levels of weights. It is a waste of your money and difficult to transport if you need to take your weights with you to different workout spots. The problem is solved if you make this purchase.

I just purchased these weights to use with the ChaLean Extreme program and I love them! They're easy to use, compact, and a space saver. I think they are perfect for ladies starting to lift :)

Dynamite!
I got these weights as a gift for someone just beginning weight training at home. She really had no need for the full 50lb. set, and this smaller set was perfect! As soon as she figured out how to use the weight selector, she was off and running. I tried them, and was pleasantly surprised at how stable they are. They are very well-balanced, and very easy to adjust. I also like that they can be expanded with the extra weights.

Great starter weights
I got these for my 15 year old son. He likes them because they don't take up much space in his room and he can start out with a small amount of weight and as he builds his arms he can increase the amount with just a pull of a pin.
*Please note* in order for the pin to set properly the weights MUST be on a flat surface. Changing the weight amount on plush carpet makes the pin set wrong.
