Do not purchase this bat My son got this bat last spring for tball. He was 5. This season we noticed the denting so went and bought another one and thought it must be defective. We submitted a warranty form online with receipt information and have never received any response back from Easton. The new bat had dents within a week, and is so bad now that we have had to purchase yet another bat 2 months later. There are 3 other boys on our tball team that have this same bat and theirs all have 2 or more dents. At $40 to $45 dollars a bat, it sounds like a reasonable price for a decent tball bat. However, when you have to buy 2 or 3 bats in a year, the value is horrible and the quality of this bat is horrible. If you are using tennis balls, this bat may be perfect. April 19, 2013
Perfect for a 4 year old My son's about to turn 4. He'd grown out of his foam bat so I got him this (11.5OZ) and it's been perfect. I don't toss baseballs. Only tennis and soft baseballs. The real baseball would easily dent it. He loves the bat and it grips and feels awesome. September 7, 2012
light bat dents all over My 6 year old played 1 season of t ball using this bat and it has dents all over it. He didn't seem to mind but I did. I will spend the extra money next season and buy him a better bat. August 5, 2012
Good for bat speed, bad for sweet spot this bat is designed to help with bat speed. because of this the sweet spot of the bat is smaller that others. Great bats that shouldn't be denting. July 30, 2012
Poor Quality Bought for my son as a Christmas gift and now 7months later on July 5th, i am shopping for a new bat. This bat has dented on all sides, very disappointed in the quality, a 6 year should not create enough bat speed to dent a bat. July 4, 2012

Good bat to try! I purchased this bat for my five year old son for his first year of t-ball. We have had many backyard practices off the tee and he manages this bat quite well. The weight for him is great and has good bat speed with it. I noticed that a recent review stated that his bat was getting dented. I have'nt noticed this problem in my case. I use oficial t-balls and not a regular baseball so maybe that could be the denting problem. The price at nearly forty dollars was more than any other t-ball bat to choose from however when my son picked it up and said " dad this is the bat i want it looks coooool" i could'nt resist. To sum it all up its a good buy. Functions well, light weight easy to swing, well balanced and most importantly to kids it looks Coooool. April 3, 2012
Dented first time used with son Great looking bat. We have used larger versions of the Rival/Eastons for several years with my 9 year old son and they were very durable. This bat, however, dented horribly the first time my 6 year old hit bp off a tee with it. It wasn't used for live pitching and it dented in like it hit a post. Very strange... January 2, 2012
