I've used the HME Reflective Trail Marker twice now and I am extremely impressed. The versatility is what sets these apart from other reflective markers. Not only are they highly visible during the day, the reflection at night is like looking at a lit highway. Connect to a branch either hanging straight down for straight ahead movement or pivot if you need to make a right or left. I've not used for tracking a blood trail but there is no doubt--in my mind--the markers would lead you in and lead you out. Leave 'em or pull 'em. It's that simple!

Tracking blood trails with these makes it easy to see the path and pick up the trail when they change directions. Takes the frustration out of tracking.

If you have any light source and you have these hung in the woods or anyplace else, you will find your way back to your stand, to your downed animal or back to where you came from...light or dark!

In the early AM hours, sneaking to your stand and finding it in the pitch dark is necessary for a successful hunt. Without a lot of light (we all know the guys who have the flood lights that notify every deer of their location) I was able to navigate the woods and walked right up to my stand using these trail markers.
I have teenage sons who hunt with me and they too located their deer stands at 0 dark hundred!

I use the reflective trail markers to hang deer scent, so I can find it in the dark. I will attach a cord with trail markers to deer scent and hand from an over hanging limb especially around buck scrapes. If I need to remove the scent container after dark, when I get out of deer stand , I can easily find them and remove. For example I may hang the Code Blue Temptation container with heated doe in estrous scent, then remove it when I get out of deer stand after dark. With you flash light, you quickly find the spot or reflective trail marker with scent. finkmtnhunter
