Setup of the tent was very easy. Rainfly was a little more difficult the first time but after knowing how to do it now it will be easy. Four people would be a tight fit if you have much gear with you. Two or three people with gear shouldn't be a problem. Vestibule area is a nice feature. Overall a good product I look forward to using again.

The tent seems to be just fine. Nothing amazing stands out but it is a good quality tent.

This is not the tent for me. In order to get your tent to the optimal shape you must tie and stake down 10 points after setting the tent up. This is a hassle upon itself. The bottom area of the tent is made of thin material and can easily be ripped with a root or rock under the tent. The floor mat is an extra piece of material with two loops in it that loosely and cheaply attaches to the front of the tent. The design flaw is in the mesh siding of the tent. This lets all of the warm air inside the tent escape so unless you have a top notch sleeping bag you will be freezing throughout the night.

I bought this tent to take my son camping for his first time.
It would be a tight fit for four people but had plenty of space just for the two of us.
I would say 3 max with little room to spare. It's an easy set up I did by myself.
The rain fly is nice and provides a few feet of overhead shelter from the weather when coming and going. However, I was extremely disappointed on night 2 with this tent. It rained for 3-4hours, nothing serve, just your average steady rain. To my surprise of all the places this tent could leak, water came in from not one but TWO of the corners in the tub style bottom, enough that my sons pad, sleeping bag, and pillow all got fairly wet on one end. Again I repeat, this was just an average steady rain and the tent leaked from the water proof bottom! Luckily dicks is going to exchange the tent or at the least replace it. I wont be purchasing this brand again.

First of all the tent stakes I needed to make my own because the short stakes do not work well in sand second the seams on the fly needed seam sealer found this out camping in a rain storm but since I line the seams up with the pole the water went along them. The bottom of the tent is well constructed it didn't leak. The directions are pretty easy. It took about fifteen minutes to set up everything including the fly. It had good ventilation. It fits three people with equipment good, but with four people you would have to leave the equipment out in the vestibule area. For the price I bought it for I think it was a good deal.

Enjoy the entry way, tent bottom, flaps to control inside breeze/temperature, mud matt, ease of erecting, and live ability in the rain/shine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DT Perfect Tent for Weekend Camping Trips
I recently went camping with this tent, and it held up well. If you are fortunate enough to not have rain overnight, I would recommend keeping the fly off because almost the entire covering is netting. If you are looking for a tent for four people, this is not the tent for you. My girlfriend and I (both ~5' 8" tall) were able to comfortably fit into it with all of our gear. Three people would fit in the tent, but it would be a tight fit trying to sleep with more than three people. During my trip there was not any severe weather, so I can't comment on how water-proof the seams are. With the minor shower that did occur, I did not notice any water leaking through.
Overall, I would say this tent is worth the price.
I would have to suggest buying some heavy-duty stakes because the ones included are easily bent.
A minimum of 4 heavy-duty stakes would be my recommendation.

Rated 3 out of 5 by mouse Size matters
It's nothing uncommon that when it comes to tent sizes your best bet is to buy one that is a size up than the advertised number that it claims to accommodate. If you are 2 people camping purchasing a 4 person tent should be plenty of space to be comfortable. However in regards to this potential tent that was not the case. Perhaps it would have been a better fit for a very short trip requiring much less necessities but for an 8 day trip it was cramped and uncomfortable. That aside its durability was surprisingly good considering the amount of rain during our trip. Very minimal leakage and that was without treating the fabric and seams with water repellent. I can't speak for sturdiness in heavy storms and wind though as that they were not a factot. Just quite a bit of rain ranging from drizzle to downpour. Also because of the porch extension and window options ventilation was nice but trying to use the porch area for storage to make more space in the tent was not very effective especially during the rain. A lot of shifting around to be comfortable with another person in the tentv was a headache. Overall this would at best be a decent one person tent but because I almost never camp alone I will be returning it due to being advertised as a 4 person tent and it failing to accomodate only even 2 comfortably is simply unacceptable.
