honestly an awful design
i play varsity for my high school team. whats great about it is the front chest plate. its very durable and it really helps with getting poked in the sternum by d poles. whats not so great is that they constrict your chest so much that it gets hard to breathe while running. i think its because they tighten around the sides and not the front and the yellow elastic strings may have something to do with it. i have to leave the velcro straps off. i know i have the right size because the actual pads are almost too big. im only 16, weigh 148 lbs and im 6 feet tall so my chest is not unusually large. also the shoulder caps look absolutely ridiculous and are way too big. they hit the chin of your helmet when you pass. i strongly recommend NOT getting these shoulder pads!
