Boy do I love this reel ! Just purchased another Pflugeger President reel my 5th I could not pass up the deal I got on this one ... Dick's Sporting Goods had the reel for $59.95 and for a buck more, 1 dollar ..matched it with a Berkley Amp fishing rod what a sweet outfit I got. This reel has 9 ball bearings that gives it a smooth retrieve I purchased this one in the smaller size 6930 the other 4 I have are in the 6735 size. This reel is the boss, I caught a 12 lb.30in Brown Trout from Lake Wallenpaupack in Pa in May of 2009 with the Pflugeger President. March 26, 2013
Great value I can't afford to purchase the high priced reels but that doesn't mean I don't want my reels to be quality equipment. This president has never failed me. Bail always flips, drag works smoothly and line feeds out as it is supposed to. I have some reels that I look forward to changing to this reel. Buy yourself one and you will be glad you did. Very Nice Reel This is the second Pflueger President reel I have bought. I love it, it is very balanced no wobble at all very durable and smooth. A friend of mine tried it out and he said this reel is the smoothest reel he has ever had in his hand. that's why I gave it 5 stars and you will not be disappointed if you purchase this awesome reel and that's why I bought two of them. This reel has great features I had pflueger reels for over 5yrs, and not had a problem with no reels caught several nice size red fish along with lots of other fish no problem with any of my pflueger reels. December 8, 2012

Best Reel I've ever owned I bought this reel about 4 years ago and use it to fish on a weekly basis. The 10 bearings make it smooth as silk and I have never been disappointed. It has an excellent retrieve ratio and drag system. I have caught some very large fish with it, bigger than you would think it can handle and it did it without issue. I recently caught a 46 inch Redfish with it with no problems. For $60, the value is incredible. I would recommend this reel to anybody looking for a high quality reel and a very reasonable price. 10 bearing reel I have not used the reel yet but I bought it because it has 10 ball bearings, seems like the most bang for the buck. October 16, 2012
