Rated 5 out of 5 by Tbest82 Shimano I love the rod it's an awesome rod for the price. Compared to some of Shimano's pricy gear this rod is just as good. October 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by taildog99 Great rod Was exactly what I was looking for in a good rod that will be used for an open-face reel. August 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by cape man like the extra eyes, more than most rods have two of these in florida and am very happy with them, so decided to buy one for walleye. July 19, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by BobE Nice but problems. Its a great looking rod BUT after you have cast several times the reel becomes loose from the handle and you have to continually tighten it down. I will be returning it. July 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by rlgdguy worth the $ Very good rod by a quality company obviously. Very reasonably priced and well worth it! June 28, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Ping must use it to get the performance different composition so a little lighter action than what it says since it appears to be made to perform with braided line. Example, medium heavy action is closer to a medium action in other rods if you use mono or fluourocarbon line. If you use braid, the action on the rod is correct since braid does not have any stretch. September 11, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by dmhmiller Awesome Rod for the Price The main use was for Walleye fishing, but we found that it's great for bass fishing as well. It has a fast tip and strong backbone for lure control and fighting the fish. My wife used this rod and really loved it. It's now her rod, but I use it when I can. The handle is soft and is designed to fit the palm of your hand. This feature was really nice and the material doesn't dry out your hands like cork does. I liked this model so much, I purchased the cranking stick for one of my baitcasters. June 26, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Chuck Sellus Jig and worm Rod I use this rod primarily in the Delaware River for Smallmouth Bass and Walleyes. I like its fast tip for bouncing tubes on the bottom while drifting and occasionally trolling with shallow running lures. You can feel the bottom and the bites because of the rods sensitivity. The open design of the handle also helps to feel the fish. For the price I believe it's a real winner. June 11, 2012
