Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 32 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very comfortable - until it breaks! We bought two of these chairs, thinking we'd enjoy soccer and baseball season sitting in comfort and style. The first time we used them the arm rests signs fell off. No problem, it's cosmetic. Then, the back lumbar support broke. We returned and exchanged thinking it was a fluke. Now we're on our 3rd set of chairs and we've had it after they've broken again after only a couple of uses. Plus, each return has been a total pain (even with the helpful staff) since the chair is never in-stock and has to be shipped. I'd rather sit in a little less comfort if the chair is actually reliable! February 25, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Quality Poor but comfortable I bought this chair two months ago thinking it was going to be a great chair. At the store, I opened it up sat in it and like it. I bought it right then and there. About a week later, I took it to a soccer game and the back lumbar broke. Now thinking it was a fluke, I took it back to Dicks and got a new one. Again, I took it out and looked at it to make it sure there were no malfunctions or wear on it. I then exchanged the old one for the new one. About three weeks later, I was at my daughters soccer practice and the stitching on the left side of the seat broke. Now this is ridiculous, I am 180lbs 5'8" and it states it will hold 250LBS. I am going to be taking this thing back to the store and finding a new chair and not this brand. It sucks since it was a comfortable chair, but I think the manufacture GCI needs to take a look at this and make some changes on their product. November 16, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Very small chair for the money I expected a chair with a higher back and greater depth to the seat. My mistake for not applying the measurements provided to my needs. But knowing that this is a reclining camp chair, I made the mistake of assuming that certain features like those I described would be present for comfort. September 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by comfortable watching the game This chair was so comfortable! The slight recline and mesh back made watching the game enjoyable. The chair is very sturdy- it made getting up and down to cheer easier than the typical folding chair. Even though it was a little more than I would typically spend on a folding chair- the comfort at the game was worth the extra expense. Very satisfied with my purchase. September 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by the product is comfortable This chair is made pretty well, very comfortable to sit in and everyone in my family seemed to like it, however the 3 position mechanism did not stay in place on uneven ground...which is highly likely during camping. So we were trying to get the chair to pick the same recline position through out the day because it kept moving around on its own. August 26, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by worth the price A heavy duty portable chair with back pack style carry bag. August 23, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Chair Recliner Ordered online but received a used chair showing lots of wear. Carrying bag was a different color than the chair, was torn and had holes in bag. Certainly not what we were expecting. Returned used chair and did receive a new chair but it was not the color we wanted but kept it anyway because we did want to risk getting another used chair. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Chair overall, needs wider arm rests Great overall chair, comfortable for long period of time. Only drawbacks are its a bit complicated at first to assemble and I wish the armrests were larger and featured more padding. Would buy another August 16, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by This product is better than anything else I've purchased, Except ? I purchased an earlier model GCI Recliner that had a higher back rest and reclined a lot farther than this model. It recline with full head support. The problem with the earlier model was, the seat completely separated ( The stitching ) along the total width of the seat and back. Either a design or manufacturing flaw in the stitching. This chair is a little better designed but limited to a degree or two. June 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable, sturdy chair We chose this chair as it was the only one we tried that has a relatively vertical back, as we prefer to sit upright. It has the option to tilt back two positions. It also appears to be well constructed. June 26, 2013
