Smoothest pole I've bought so far. I have 20lb test on it and can still cast surprisingly far even with a small rooster tail.

Excellent value combo
I purchased this combo apprx. 2 weeks ago, and have fished with it several times since. It is a medium action rod, and I put 10lb. 'Sufix' braided line on it...I have caught some nice Bass, and decent sized Pickerel on it(over 20'')...it is a VERY durable combo! It is also a 1 piece rod, which adds to its durability. I have been fishing for over 30 years, and I would be hard pressed - to find - a combo with this durability...and price. It casts nice(with braid), it handles almost anything you can catch in a freshwater lake/pond, and is suited for 6-10lb mono. Do yourself a favor, and put 10lb braid on it...you won't be disappointed it. Oh! and if the clerks are doing their job? they will spool your 'braided' line on the reel....as The 'Ike-Dude' reel comes without line on it.

great quality
Great value and great quality. Ezcelent for using buzz baits and any lure desired. Will cast a mile with the spider wire ultracast line.

medium Abu Garcia rode and reel 6' foot. Durable, very flexible though. Realed in 6 bass first day I used it and couldn't handle it any Better. Perfect for fresh or brackish waters. Would be five star butt wish the ratio of the reel was bigger. Other than tht I like this product and recommend it.

Very stable easy reeling in and throwing
I use this product for mainly catching bass, trout, you are average stuff even though it is fit for way bigger fish. Even though it may not look it this fishing rod is very strong and stable. I have not found anything wrong with it so far.
