Rated 5 out of 5áby JB59 Columbia Silver Ridge Cargo shorts These shorts fit me great, not too baggy not too tight in the seat either. The length is great for walking and hiking, I don't care for over the knee length, that's for kids. The 100% nylon is light, dries fast, and is cool on hot days. I have two pair, one in tusk, the other in gravel which is columbia-speak for green. July 29, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5áby Olaf2046 Not as good as the original! I had the original Silver Ridge cargo shorts from the 2011 season and loved them so much I just bought all four colors from this season to replace those. However I'm very disappointed with this year's design. Gone are the rear zipper pockets, the secret wallet zippered pocket and the cool Sage color. On this season Silver Ridge shorts all the pockets are very shallow especially the hand pockets where you would want to put your wallet, car keys or cellphone. The minute you sit down anything in those pockets will fall out. The color options are mind boggling. The dicks sporting web store list four colors; peat moss, tusk, gravel and fossil but they are all similar looking shades of olive. The original shorts had a sharp contrast between the colors. Another thing I noticed is the stitching at the cargo pockets is very thin and looks cheaper than found on the originals. The cargo pockets are also smaller as well. The originals cost $35 retail and these newer ones are $45 but it seems the offerings and quality is less. Still at under $50 these shorts are a great value when compared to the higher price tags of what other brands are asking for similar fare. I assume these first time buyers of the silver ridge will love them and most like leave 5 star reviews but owners of the originals will be left wanting more. July 3, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5áby Brad These shorts don't fit right I've worn Silver Ridge shorts for years, bought a pair of these. for a 10" inseam these shorts were way to long. March 5, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5áby 10dbrown short shorts The shorts were sized bigger than they fit. I normally wear a 34, but these fit me like they were 2 sizes too small. Also, they came down to about an inch above my knee, and I am only 5'9". I returned them, which was easy with Dick's. July 22, 2015
