Heavy & a bit ugly, but comfy and dry
OK, the headline pretty much says it. The boots are quite heavy, but that really isn't felt while wearing them. It is felt every time you pick them up. However, if you need to defend yourself or are a viscious bully, then the heft helps. The ugly factor stems from the black rubber front & back. I understand that this probably improves the durability of the boot, and therefore it's lifespan, but I would rather buy new boots a year earlier and just have nice leather all around. These boots basically can't decide if they are daily wear boots, or outright workboots. The sole is pretty non-slip but not with deep channels that provide more stability at the cost of dragging mud into your house. These will shed their mud with a few kicks of the stairs or curb. The sole insert has a lot of air pockets, like a golfball but much deeper. They seem to keep air circulating within the boot as you walk and the result is nice dry feet. You can wear them all day and your feet will love them. Shoveling snow - feet stay warm & dry. Wearing them all day indoors - not overly warm & still dry. Need to run, no prob, the ankle gives enough support but doesn't hinder movement. Awesome lace-up, the top few posts allow you to either keep the laces off the posts for easier entry/exit and then go around them for a quick tie. Or you can permanently run the laces through holes in the posts to retain the laces at all times, which slows down entry/exit, but if you just slip them on, you won't trip on the laces. All in all I would recommend, but would rather have the same boots without the black rubber bumpers and maybe a pound lighter (each).

Excellent
YouI can feel the difference as soon you put this boots on, I was amazed how comfortable this boot are if you need a good pair this is an excellent choice , I work long hours on my feet outsi and this boot are just perfect , for cool weather are very good I would recommend this product in a heart bit.
