Rated 3 out of 5 by Velcro comes loose If this is stored in a warm to hot van/area, the velcro seems to lose it's stickiness. But if you use gorilla glue with it - it creates a seal that won't ever let go. August 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Every Kayaker should have a leash on their kayak or canoe paddle So many times a kayak or canoe can tip over. It is easier to get the kayak back but the paddle can very easily float out of reach and downstream. A paddle leash solves the problem of a kayak with no way to get anywhere because of a lost paddle. We travel in a good size group so someone has always caught the paddle floating but at some point this might not happen. Luck can run out. June 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Yak-Gear Coiled Paddle Leash I just got my 3rd kayak and had to get another paddle leash. I went with the Yak-Gear brand again. I've never had a paddle get away from me with the Yak-Gear Coiled Paddle Leash. June 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by No paddle left behind We have three kayaks, and use them on all. When I fish, or just paddle around, I don't worry about loosing my paddle. Does not get in the way of paddling either. December 16, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by A confidence booster Purchased this leash to prevent finding myself losing my paddle and it works great. It does not encumber paddling and protects me from losing the paddle when fishing from my kayak. Great product. February 20, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by love these straps Love these straps for my kayak glad a store carrys them for me to see and try them out. October 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for fishing lanyard I use this product while trolling with my 9 foot fishing rods. It insures that I don't loose my gear if the rod is dropped. Great insurance and inexpensive if you ask me. September 18, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Paddle Leash I added a carbiner to the paddle leash and it works great. I mounted a cabinet pull under the deck of my kayak. The carbiner clips onto the cabinet pull for securing to the kayak. Leash works as expected and light enough that isn't noticeable. July 18, 2013
