Rated 2 out of 5 by KaYaker Not quite so universal
I bought two sets of these for Spring kayaking on a Perception Torrent sit on top. They push right through. We had to keep them since we threw the packaging away. We ended up wrapping koozies around them to get them tight, but it dramatically changed the tracking of my kayak since they stuck out slightly below the kayak. I don't recommend these if you have inch and a half scuppers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mikey A little too firm
Get them wet and shove them down in the hole and they will stay until moved. Firm rubber, softer would have been better. They do what they are supposed to do, with some effort.

Rated 4 out of 5 by drumkite better than sinking!!
Being a heavier paddler, I almost sank without these. After installing, I found that they slowly allowed water to seep through the middle, where the pull cord comes through. Meaning, I still sank but at a much slower rate!! Good incentive to learn to swim...Sponge still needed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by the one that bought it its usable, just a bit to hard
it works, but not the best...water can get in through the line "which you pull the scupper plugs" and sometime it the plugs pop up if you put too much gear on your kayak...

Rated 5 out of 5 by bass Perfect for my ocean kayak scrambler
Works perfect for my ocean kayak scrambler. Does not allow any water into the kayak for a wet free ride. I recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by patc14 Decent plugs a good price
I had been looking for a plug that was exactly like some plugs that came with an older kayak. The plugs offered by Dick's looks the same, but they aren't. These plugs are a firm rubber, whereas the ones I was looking for was a foam style plug that was much easier to conform to varing hole sizes or shapes. These plugs work and are worth the money, but not exactly what I wanted.
