unable to fit on bat my husband tried soap, force, screwdrivers......nothing worked March 9, 2015
Not easy to place on bat Very hard timeout in bat I was never able to place on bat March 4, 2015
Don't waste you time. The bat choke is darn near impossible to get over the butt of a bat. I returned it and bought a different product. March 1, 2015
Just gotta read Johnnybat's review It was frustrating to install until I read Johnnybat's review. (I considered slicing it and taping it around the handle.) The only thing that Johnnybat wasn't crystal clear about is you actually pop it over the knob from above while standing on the bat. Literally 5 seconds when done right. The hardest part is cleaning off the vasoline. Use mild hand soap and warm water and you might as well clean the rest of the handle as well while you're at it. Thanks Johnnybat! February 18, 2015
Very difficult to install Ring was very difficult to install , but by placing it up right on the floor laying the bat flat on the ring & stepping on the bat while using 2 flat head screwdrivers I was able to install it , I feel there is no need for any type of lubricant as that would not be helpful & would create a mess , once ring was installed , it served its purpose . Impossible to attatch I was never able to get this on the bat. Tried heating it, applying dishwashing liquid, lots of elbow grease. Nothing worked. I would not recommend this product. February 4, 2015
Poor design Had the hardest time putting it on only to realize it didn't serve its purpose. I ended up cutting it off. January 21, 2015
Works perfectly for 1" choke on 2014 easton s1 Found a 2014 Easton s1, new, for $120. Problem is that son needs a 31" and ours is a 32". We weighed 7 different s1 bats and our 32" as 21.8 oz is lighter than some 31" s1s, so all we needed was a bit of choke and we'd have our 31" #which are still selling for $200+# From the T hes fine batting choked up, likes the weight, but he wanted a knob to push, and to eliminate uncertainty when placing hands. First bought an Easton power squish ring, very loose and soft, doesn't provide enough choke. Not unexpected as that product is designed to wrap the end knob. Finally got this one, put it on with soft soap, took 20 seconds, then rinsed with water. The Adidas knob also isn't super tight on handle, so wouldn't be great for more than 1" choke as it would be pushed down he bat unless you taped over it, but it is really perfect as is for a solid 1" choke up. We put the Easton ring on top of the Adidas knob for 1.25" of choke. His swing is much better with this knob applied. January 4, 2015
My son loves it I must admit, I was a little reluctant to purchase at first because of the reviews on hard or impossible to put on bat. It actually took me less than a minute to put on my son's Mako composite big barrel bat. All I did was take it in driveway and put it down. Took bat and pushed it down at an angle, than rotated the bat until it popped on. Keep your weight on bat. December 16, 2014
Very difficult to put on no instructions provided I haven been able to put the choke on the bat. I can't in good conscience recommend. November 11, 2014
