Rated 1 out of 5 by Horrible Can't use it if I can't get it on the bat. And I can't. October 10, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hack to get it on the bat The guy who cut it is correct. Used utility knife to cut it, wrapped around bat, electrical tape (or could use bat grip tape) to fix it. Worked great. I'll try to remember to update this after he's used it a few games to see how this held up. I'd probably buy a different one if I had to do it again, but I didn't want to go back to the store... Rated 1 out of 5 by Didn't suit me! Doesn't fit over Easton bats!! Wasted my money! Very disappointed!!! May 11, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Absolute garbage! Impossibly difficult to fit over the knob of my bat. May 3, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Do not buy I tried for about a hour to get this thing on. I boiled it , lubed it, soaped it , everything. Bottom line is that unless your the rock you aren't getting this on. I went out the next day and bought the Easton one and got it on with no problem at all. Don't waste your time and money and save yourself the frustration! May 3, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Ridiculously hard to get on I would look to replace this item to a better one because this one is next to impossible to get on. I ripped one trying and once it was on the thing slid up and down the bat kind of pointless April 30, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Total garbage!!! What a joke! My wife and I wrestled around with this thing for over an hour. We tried Vaseline, boiled it, tied ropes around it, used a screwdriver and finally threw in the towel. I was about to throw it in the trash because I wasn't going to drive back to Dick's and waste more of my time for $6, but then had a great idea. I cut it so I was able to easily place it around the bat handle and then wrapped it tightly with black hockey tape. You could also use electrician tape but end result is it works great and the tape is barely noticeable. I would highly recommend this method to anyone who buys this. Plus, when it's time to remove, it will be a simple process instead of another time consuming chore. April 30, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Woo Hoo I'm Hercules! Just put a little hand sanitizer on the inside of the choke. April 17, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Takes the cake.. May be the worse design of any baseball product I've ever purchased. It's impossible to get on a Mako... I've tried boiling it, soaping the handle, no way this thing is going on the bat. Now I need to waste more time returning it. Should be off the shelves. April 2, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Herculean effort to get how do you get it off? I got it on 6 months ago and now had to take it off for my oldest son's 31 inch bat. I had to take reciprocating saw to it! It stayed in place when it was on, but that was about it. I damaged the grip getting it off also. For my 9 year old, I bought Grippi Rings. Much easier to get off and on at anytime. You can also use one for a slight choke-up or you can use 2 for a little higher choke-up. August 5, 2015
