Nicely put together shoe, could have used a little more cushioning
I am not an avid runner anymore, I now do mixed walking and running for my health. I needed to replace my shoes that I wore down from starting at 220lbs and getting down to 193lbs in 5 months. Those shoes were asking for relief. I decided to spend a little more on my feet as I was starting to develop a little Metatarsalgia. I was looking for a shoe that provided better cushioning than my previous ASICs. I tried a lot of the "cushion" shoes and narrowed it down to this one and the Brooks Ghost 5. I caught this one at a clearance price of $99.00 (as the new 14's came out). Which is not bad since it was orgininally a $140 shoe. I could not justify to the Misses spending more than that, so went with the Mizuno. :-) Also, the difference of $30 dollars for the more expensive Brooks was not justified by the difference it felt on my feet. So I have been running on it for two weeks and although it did feel better than my previous shoe, I could have used a little more cushioning. I put an active series insert from Dr. Scholls and all is good for now. I gave it a solid 4 stars because for me I was hoping that the cushioning would have been a little better. $25 inserts put the total price in the neighborhood of the Brooks and now I questioned if that would have been better, maybe not. Wave Creation 13
I am a 5 foot 6 inch heavy guy 215lbs and find the WC 13 to have a comfortable stable wide enough base upon foot strike. Provides good support but not a rigid wear. You may have to go up a half size for proper fit or if you have a wide foot. It is stable with good cushion snug but not too tight and durable. I run 3 times a week 2 to 4 miles. The shoe last about 10 months before showing wear and tear.

Could be happier!
I haven't had my mizunos very long, but I was looking for a quality running shoe that was light, comfortable, had good support and traction. I got all that and style too!

Much-need push
The location had these out back on close-out. I was skeptical of the design at first, but once I put them on in the store and starting jogging, I was sold. I did my first 6.35 in these on asphalt, concrete and grass. The Creation 13s easily helped me get through each surface. I have had a herniated disc for 16 years and issues with my left foot after breaking my pinkie toe about eight years ago. The Creation 13s helped me forget about these issues while running.

who knew mizuno?
i liked the shoe alot. comfortable from the time you slip it on. great looking and great feel. only beef was that towrd the end of a 13 mile run my feet were sore. Definately worth the $...

Creation 13
Great shoes for a Big Guy; very comfortable. I Initially went to a Dick's store for the shoes. I was informed the type of shoes I was looking for would need to be ordered online. Dick's staff place the ordered for me at the store immediately great customer service and shoes arrived promptly.

A must buy running shoe
Mizuno is a great running shoe. Very breathable and light weight. Great for distance running. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

This shoe not for everyone
The shoe was constructed well, and the product was high quality. They ride was not comfortable. I'm a bigger guy 6'3" 245, and the shoe felt really hard. All the reviews online suggested these were great for bigger guys, because of the wave creation technology. Not so, in my case. My last pair were Glycerin 9's (Brooks) which provided excellent cushion, these do not. I returned them after 1 run on the treadmill, and went back to Brooks. Again good quality, great color scheme, poor ride.

The best running shoe
I run a couple 5k races each year and run 2-3 miles a week. I have tried several different brands of running shoe but have always had knee problems until I bought my first pair of Wave Creation. They feel great and eliminate most of the shock. GREAT shoe!!

Fits well Soft impact, no neck or back pain after a run anymore. Little heavy Not a very masculine color
