this thing is the best thing i bought in years i am in love with this thing. its made wading or even just walkin down the peir a breeze. the built in cooler is also a plus for the hot days, or even a spot for more tackle storage, which it is not lacking. it also makes it easy to carry two rods to fish, having two rod holders. i highly recomend it. EXCELLENT! Easy transport for your tackle to the boat! I have two. When leaving my boat in the slip overnight, I don't want my tackle to disappear. These make it easy to get it from the condo, down the dock and to the boat. They are roomy and hold 3 large boxes each. In one of them I have 3 Plano boxes for Gulp baits. In the bottom cooler dept. I store jig heads in two medium boxes. The other holds large offshore lures and sinkers. March 24, 2013
Lots of room I bought this product to replace an older backpack that I used to keep my tackle box in. I was not planning on using the included tackle trays that came with the new backpack, but once I opened it up and saw how perfctly they fit I transferred all my plugs and tackle from my old pack to the new one and still had tons of room left over. Great backpack, wish I had one years ago. October 21, 2012
Great product I would buy again I use it for fishing I can put the bag on the side of my chair and I never have to get my lazy butt up because everything is at my fingertips. I also like hiking through the woods to my favorite fishing spots and this is a great way to carry all of my fishing gear. September 25, 2012
Great back pack! I had my eye on this back pack for a few months but, was hesitant due to the price. I eventually broke down and bought one for surf fishing. Man was i glad I did! The bag is full of storage and I love the rod holders built into the bag for hiking into my favorite spots or walking the sod banks in South Jersey. I also use the pack even for just walking to the beach with my family since I can haul all my fishing gear but, also carry in the kids' beach stuff. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the price. Really a great bag and would (and have) recommended it to anyone! August 21, 2012
SWEET THIS IS A GREAT TACKLE BACKPACK FOR ANY TYPE OF FISHING I USE IT FOR WADING AND INSHORE I WOULD BUY ANOTHER IF I HAD TO. July 31, 2012
Highly Recommended I have put all my saltwater fishing things in along with 4 ounce bunker sinkers, hooks and lures and it's amazing how the weight isn't noticable once its on your back and starpped on. I absolutely love this bag! July 11, 2012
Best tackle backpack ever When I first saw it in the store, it captured my attention immediately. This is a well made backpack unlike flimsy and poor design like many of its neighbors on the shelves. Good placement of pockets and compartments. Quality sewing and heavy duty fabric that will last. The size is right, not too big nor too small. Plenty of rooms. I have 0 complaint. Very thoughtout by the engineer when they designed this backpack. A+++ July 10, 2012
amazing fishing product lots of pockets. fits all your fishing equipment and still have space to fit so much more. the perfect bag for an everyday fisherman May 15, 2012
A good surprise! I ordered this product to use while bicycling from fishing spot to fishing spot on the Intercoastal south of Tampa, Florida. I was looking for a way to safely carry at least two rods and my tackle, while not being so big that it was unmanagable. When I pulled it out of the shipping box I was surprised and dissapointed how big it was! But I didn't have any viable alternative, so I went with it. And I'm glad I did. It turned out to be just the right size for two rods, a small tackle box, a packable rain suit, a couple of water bottles, pliers, sandwich, spare spool of line and some bait. It was comfortable to wear and seemed well made. Nothing broke or messed up in a week of hard use. I got a lot of positive comments from people who saw it on my travels. But nothing's perfect. A couple things I would change: 1) Due to the bags semi-triangular shape, the rod tips merge together (if long enough) and slap together. This worried me about possible rod damage. 2) The "cooler" section on the bottom worked ok for a couple of cans of soda and a ice pack, but after a day of toting around some squid and shrimp, it absorbed the stink and still smells pretty bad now a week later. Not sure if there's a way to prevent that, but thought I'd mention it. 3) And finally, I learned very quickly to keep a sharp eye out for branches/wires over-head while bicycling to prevent snapping off a rod tip! Lost a couple of lures until I got used to it but fortunately didn't break my rods. Over-all, a well made product that works well. I'm glad I bought it. Even with the larger than expected size.
