Rated 1 out of 5 by Chris Not what was advertised
This product did not provide the protection that was expressed in the manufacturer's description. I tried the product and it was not designed with the male anatomy in mind, I put in back in the package and ordered another product which has been much more effective and comfortable.

The ultra compression shorts are comfortable and do allow total freedom of movement. The cup seems too long and narrow for me, but not unbearably so. The one thing I wish they would do is sell the ultra compression shorts separately. I don't like the idea of having to to wash the same pair everyday, neither do I need a new cup everyday, nor do I want to pay the extra for the cups. So, please Shock Doctor, start selling the "Ultra Compression Shorts" separately.

Probably the most comfortable compression short / cup combo I have purchased. Some of the others I have owed over the years were restrictive, seemed like I would have to adjust constantly, seams itchy, etc. This is light, comfortable and I barely know I am wearing a cup - I like it.

Finally a cup that is comfortable and stays in place. Cup does not move around when I do and stays in place to do the job.

Bought this for baseball; I play catcher. I found that the cup pocket does not hold the cup firmly in place. I have to adjust it ever time I squat in my stance and then stand up. At the very least you need to wear a regular jock to hold your junk in place so the cup can cover it. The best solution is to wear a regular cup jockstrap and then the comp shorts over that. That is what I wound up doing.
