Product Information:

Catch more crabs with the Danielson ® Conical Crap Trap. Crabs can access this trap from any direction. The slope of the tightly tied polypropylene side is readily scaled by crabs getting to the bait. The trap acts like a holding pen once inside, even after the bait is gone. To ensure upright landing, the conical shape provides the trap with a low center of gravity.
Conical Crab Trap features vinyl-coated steel framework, a 34" lower ring and an 18" upper ring attached by five strong supports. This trap comes complete with a harness and float which can be stacked on top of each other for convenient storage.

Customer Reviews:

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by West Coast Crabs I saw this net in a competitors store, I think the first reviewer may not be taking into consideration that this trap is designed for larger West Coast Dungeneous Crab, Rock Crab, Red Crab not the smaller East Coast blue Crab. I will be picking up 3 of this style of traps this month and putting them to the test myself here in California! May 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works... Not sure what the other reviewer was doing differently, but this thing works just fine. Toss it from the local dock and soaks for 4 hours have produced catches of at least 2 - 4 keepers every time. I set up a bait holder in the middle, tied down to the bottom netting with mini-bungie cords - so the crab must climb the sides, fall in, and are trapped... Went with this type rather than box types because I want to launch via a kayak and thought this trap might be easier to handle. Also, watched a Youtube video of as square pot trying to catch crab and for 15 minutes not one crab could figure out how to get in the side doors! One more reason I went with this type of trap - you can let is soak and not have to constantly check it like a ring trap - possibly missing out on crabs coming to check out your bait. I give it a good rinse after every use, inspect the lines, store to air dry. Been worth the $$ so far... Your results may vary - but it's pretty fool-proof. Thanks October 28, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not worthy of trap title Soo far after three uses one crab regular nets each time took in over 30. Either they get out or eat from the outside and leave. Not worth the money. Well constructed but is far from what is claimed by manufacturer August 16, 2014
