Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Love the watch / Quality issue Love the watch but had to send back to Garmin for replacement because of condensation under the face. Could not read watch with the amount of condensation that built up. Garmin C/S was great and offered easy replacement program February 18, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Underwhelming The watch took at least 1 minute to find satellites every time, no matter where I went. Many times the watch lost satellites in the middle of runs. Saving function was sporadic and not intuitive. Didn't always connect to computer correctly. GPS tracking was a bit off. I always exactly retrace my path, but the watch said I made several blatantly inaccurate changes. $150 was about $100 too much to pay for this. February 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! This was my first garmin watch and I love it! I am a high school cross country and track runner so this has been helping a lot with my pacing. The only thing is I recommend buying the footpod as well because it doesn't retrieve satellite signal inside, which when you live in Northwest PA, running outside isn't always an option. Overall I am very impressed with this great watch at a reasonable price! I also considered buying the garmin 10 when I was looking into purchasing a watch, but it only displays either time or mileage, mileage or calories, or mileage and pace. If you are a serious runner I wouldn't downgrade to the cheaper garmin watches. This watch allows you to know time, pace, and miles at all times! At the end of a workout it also tells you how many calories have been burned and your average pace. Also you can use coupons to get a discount on this item! January 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by So much better than the 405 Great watch for running. I had the Forerunner 405 which had the touch bezel. What a nightmare that was! Anyway, this watch is basic, easy to use and used with Garmin connect tracks your distance, pace, heartrate, calories burned etc...Maybe not as flexible in terms of display options but provides you the info you need. Easy to use and set up. Very intuitive. Especially if you've had a Garmin previously. January 13, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed I just returned the 210. I was disappointed with not having the option of keeping the backlight on at all times... I run in the dark 95% of the time and hate the fact I have to hit the light buttom many times during my run... This watch is for someone who wants a very basic running watch and doesn't care to use the backlight very often... I ordered the 310xt in place January 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Watch! This watch picks up satellite signal much more quickly than my last Garmin (the 405). In my opinion it has all the features that most distance runners need. I do marathons and ultras, and it has worked well for everything I've needed. My only complaint is that the main screen is not as customizable as I hoped. I like to see average pace for the run as well as instantaneous pace, but on this watch you have to choose one or the other, and it will display in the bottom field. The other two fields are time and distance, and those are also fixed. December 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Watch Easy to use watch. Does everything I need to train for my marathons. November 3, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by ladies garmin 210 This gps watch is great. It keeps up even in the woods! The ladies version fits great and I have small wrists. I was afraid it may be a bit bulky but it is made smaller than the men's style. User friendly! October 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by BEST RUNNING WATCH EVER!!! The screen features on the Gramin Forerunner 201 are ideal for running. It displays distance, time and current pace while on the run. Dont waste money on the lower end Garmin's; within two month you will want to upgrade. I run 10+ half/full marathons a year and am always suprised at the watches accuracy and functionality. The only (insignificant) fault the watch has is that it is annoying to get it to start charging on the adapter, but this should not deter you from purchasing it. September 15, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Frustrating this is my 3rd garmin purchase in 8 years. i have learned my lesson that these over priced watch gadgets are NOT worth the money. Just bought another 210 and used twice before the reset button would not work. I will be looking to buy bare necessity gps in the future. August 25, 2013
