Customer Reviews:

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rod has great sensitivity I've had one of these rods for over a year. I troll forward and backwards in the Kalamazoo River. I have many other rods, including the reliable Ugly Stik Light Action. I am ordering another of these rods. I typically use 20 lb braided line. This rod can battle 5-15 pound steelheads, and 20+ pound salmon. Plus, I really like the rod's sensitivity as I can switch to skein fishing and detect a "nibble" easily. For my money, I think this rod is exceptional! November 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just what I wanted better than expected Great rod Should put the stinger into those salmon this fall September 27, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Breaks in half (twice) I fish the salmon river in NYS, in past year have broke two of these rods off in my hands.. Dont waste your money on this product is garabage. I would recommend you buy an Ugly Stik-lite 8.6ft salmon/steelhead rod... That rod will not break, historic Ugly Stik toughness and reliability. I had some fun with the noodle I'm reviewing,, they cant take the pressure of a 20lb+ Salmon.. Ugly Stik's do... I should have bought an Ugly first....... November 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Heavy Duty Fish I was looking for a casting rod to mount my Okuma Akena 400 reel. Since I drive a smaller car it had to be a two piece rod that would fit in the trunk. What a perfect match to have a matching casting rod and reel set. Like salmon and steel head, we have plenty heavy duty fish here in FL like snook and red fish. So this rod should handle anything that can be Florida shore waters. August 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Value Casting Rod Bought a 2 piece 9' Celilo casting rod MH for some light surf fishing and mated it with a Shimano Cardiff reel. This rod feels great and loads really nice. I was casting a 1 ounce weight further than I ever did with my 10' spinning surf rod. I know this is a salmon/steelhead specific rod but I feel it is good for inshore fishing. June 18, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by I would buy this product again and again I use these roods for Steelhead fishing on the Saint Joseph River and they work great. Also on Lake Erie for Walleye trolling. The rods have good action at the tip and a great back bone. April 8, 2012
