great skates
i love these skates! i just started taking beginner lessons so i could be a little better, and i didn't want to have to use the awful rental skates. I ordered the skates true to my shoe size, and they were about a size and a half too big, but they still work pretty well with a couple extra pairs of socks. You have to get them sharpened before you use them, but it's not too expensive and it doesn't take very long. The laces are plenty long, and the inside of the boots are really soft. so glad i got them!

work well
Got these since rental skates don't have the support I need/hurt after an hour of skating. The Milan definitely run big but the sizing chart was accurate. They're not as thick as I thought they'd be, but definitely better than rentals and I wasn't sore after 2 1/2 hours of skating. Well made and look nice - would recommend.

I normally wear a size 10B and often wish there was such a thing as a 10.5B. I ordered a 9 based on the reviews

These skates are sized differently than regular shoe sizes
The skates were great but were at least 2 sizes off from normal ladies shoe sizes. If you normally wear a ladies size 9, you'd probably want to order a 7. Unfortunately didn't know this and ordered the wrong size. Thought we could switch it out at a local Dick's store, but only had one ladies skate in stock and it wasn't nearly as nice. Wish we would have known and ordered correctly from the start. Still may take exchanged skates back and try to re-order online--these were so much nicer!

so far so good
Bought these for my teenager for christmas and they work great. I did follow others reviews about sizing and used manufacturer size chart thank goodness because I ordered 1 and a half sizes smaller than her shoe size and they're a perfect fit. Good quality for the $.

Figure skates
All my daughter wanted for Christmas was ice skates. We ordered these, with a bit of trepidation wondering if the size was right, if they would be comfortable and good quality. She was thrilled with them on Christmas morning, and after a couple of family ice skating trips we can say that they fit well (ordered her exact shoe size) and are of lovely quality. She's one very happy skater. :-)

Size off
Sizing is off, at least 2 sizes too big. I wear a 7.5 shoe and the size 7 skate fits like a size 8 .5 shoe. Even with heavy socks it is way too big.

I literally just got there skates in the mail and they look amazing!!!
I wear a size 8 in womens shoes and ordered a 6 in the skate. They fit perfect. I've only ice skated once but I plan on going a lot more since I have these (:

A full size too big
I chose a size I thought would be on the small side for me, and the skates were still much too big, although I was advised to order in my shoe size.
