Rated 5 out of 5 by Stud Wavemaster I began using the Wavemaster back in 1998 one time per week to supplement my Tae Kwon Do training. I have been training in Tae Kwon Do since June of 1974. I found the Wavemaster to last longer than the Everlast heavy bags by 2 years. My complaint is that after executing kicking and hand techniques one time per week, after one and a 1/2 years the long plastic cylinder holding the vinyl covering cracks and water starts leaking out of the cylinder. I only fill the base with water. I also used Everlast heavy bags since I began training in Tae Kwon Do June 6, 1974, and I have always broke the top and bottom of the bags after six months. Everlast replaced the last two bags. Overall the Wavemaster lasts longer. I would like to try the Versmaster free standing bag, but I am worried that it may not have enough stability for kicks, and the cost is significantly more than the Wavemaster. July 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Taepuncher Just What I expected The product is excellent. The only annoying thing about it is the height adjusting mechanism. It does not lock in place securely enough so that the kicks don't accidentally lower the height. So, you technically have to readjust the height every once in a while. Other than that, the product is excellent for conditioning your ankles and feet as well as developing that muscle memory that allows you to have explosive kicks (by that I don't mean that you will detonate everything you kick). Thanks. May 3, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tina love it My teenage son and husband love this. Tried to fill it with sand initially-an impossible task (re-design needed). Filled with water and it works great- have it on carpet in the basement. Does not move too much and takes a hard kick and punch. November 21, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by JungleKnot The Good The Bad and The Ugly Inspection of the bottom of the cylindrical padded foam striking bag I observed that after numerous strikes towards the bottom of the cylinder that the very real possibility of the foam escaping the open ended bottom (you can see the foam held in place by the plastic vinyl covering) "not so fully covered." I thought before using the product to deliver blows and kicks to that it would be wise to criss-cross the bottom with duct tape. Good idea as so the foam will never escape the "not so fully enclosed bottom." I am absolutely satisfied with my bargain priced purchase but will be sure first to criss- cross the bottom with a tight pattern of duct tape. A friend owns two and one in his garage split at the bottom from cold temperatures. I intend on using in typical room temperates and only after taping the bottom with duct tape. The product says it is filled with sand of 230 lbs but I have filled with 250 lbs and can even fill with more sand. I am happy with that prospect as I will be sure that it will withstand the kicks I will deliver to it without it moving or toppling even a little.More weight more stability! August 10, 2013
