New Balance Women's 730 Running Shoe 4.1 5 18 18
Lightest shoe I got this shoe in July for swim when we do dryland (a mix of running, HIIT, stairs, and ab workouts) I needed a shoe that I could run in easily and then go right to working out without having a heavy shoe to slow me down... An this was perfect! I love the fact that you feel like you are running barefoot, it not for everyone and you definitely have to get used to it. I found that for long runs 10 miles my feet started to get sore. And I replaced the laces wiring the first day cause I hated them November 22, 2012
Falling apart after 5 months of medium use I loved these when I first bought them. I run in 'barefoot' Merrell shoes on trails, but for road work these offer a bit more cushioning. 5 months on, though, and these New Balance 730s are falling apart. They are tearing away from the sole on the inside edge of the shoe, so I now have a lot more ventilation than I'd like... They were very comfortable, but the quality is poor. Not worth the $100 I paid for them. My Merrells are over a year old, have had triple the use, and are still holding up. March 23, 2013
loved them, even when they fell apart I loved everything about these shoes- they looked so good, very comfortable, super lightweight, they didn't cause any pain or discomfort. I wore them to work and the gym, and my only complaint was that the laces never stayed tied. That is, until they started busting at the sides. Sooo disappointing. I emailed New Balance and they're giving me a different pair. I was very sad to send them away. Loved these shoes. PS, the pictures attached aren't even at their worst, I just didn't take more recent before I sent them back. February 27, 2013
Great Low-Pro Shoe This shoe is not for everyone. If you have a mid to fore-foot strike with no Achilles problems, and are interested in a low drop, minimalist show, then this is worth a try. Lots of room in the toe box. Very little, but sufficient support. October 14, 2012
cheap Disappointed, I was really looking forward to these. They are extremely lightweight. And they are comfortable. They really feel cheaply made the laces have to be double tied they are really thin. I love NB so I am really sad about this. I wore them on a short 2.5mile walk to try them before my regular run. The tongue has no attachment loop. So it slides to the side- making it really uncomfortable. I don't think I even want to try running in these. Really didn't notice it when I ordered or when they arrived. They are true to size, I wear a size 8, all the NB I have are all 8 and they all fit the same. September 29, 2012
Love these Shoes! I have been using the shoes for interval/cross-fit-esque training. The shoe is very lightweight and flexible. I can move at any angle yet still have a comfortable, natural feel. The colors are great too. So far the only downside is the shoelace. I have to double tie them and even then they become undone from time to time. Overall, this is a great shoe I recommend. September 10, 2012
Achilles pain So far I have taken these shoes on a short 1 mile, a medium 3 mile and a longer 6 mile run and after both the 3 & 6 mile run I've noticed my Achilles are really tight and painful. I have never had that before with any other shoe, but this is my first lightweight pair. I don't know if I need to gradually build up to distance in them, or if this is a tradeoff for lightweight... Can't say I'm happy or disappointed yet, we'll see. Gonna try to do a few shorter runs with them and see what happens. Also not to thrilled that I couldn't find a pair of non-neon lightweights...not a teeny bopper... September 10, 2012
"love love love them!" I loved them so much, I went online & ordered 2 more in other colors!!! August 25, 2012
These Shoes are the best ever!!!! plenty of toe room so no more black toe nails YAY :) July 4, 2012
Excellent shoe for crossfit I needed a lightweight shoe for Crossfit and this one is perfect! I like the flat soles for olympic and powerlifting moves. Very lightweight, supportive, and flexible. They tend to run big, so I ended up purchasing a pair a size and a half smaller than usual. June 18, 2012
