Light and comfortable Asics have no equal in the running world for shoes! I have tried all the rest and bought the best! Great running shoe as usual I have been a fan of Asics running shoes for a long time. This is probably my 20th pair. Asics have great style, are very supportive and hold up well. I am once again very satisfied. The sales rep at Dick's was also very helpful! They didn't have the size I needed so he ordered them for me in the store for delivery to my home. PERFECT! Bring the REAL KAYANO BACK! Been running in Kayano's since number 10 and have purchased every new model since. Not sure what happened, but the sizing is about a one-third size smaller... Yep, I said a one-third, if I go up a half-size, they are too big; if I go to the same size I have always worn, they are slightly too small. Also, the Kayano 17's and 18's inner lining have worn away far too soon. The off center laces from the Kayano 17's are deeply missed. As far as value for price for the Kayano 18's; not worth it anymore! The changes made, with the premature wear, and the increase in price, do not match anymore. They caused me to switch to Brooks Ghost 5's and I love them.... Most of all, they have not worn out prematurely. I would shop around with Brooks and Mizuno before dumping this much on these shoes... and believe me, I used to live and breathe for my Kayanos; but no more. January 3, 2013
