Good shoe for trail runner novice I am a huge fan of the GT-2170. I have run in a pair for 5 months. After running roads for over a year I decided to try trail running. I entered a trail half marathon. I wanted a trail shoe. I tried several shoes but was not 100% sure that trail running is something I wanted to do all the time. Then I found this shoe. It fits like the GT-2170 with a little extra cushioning and a slightly better grip. It is good for trails but could also be used on the road. I would say this is a good shoe for someone who is a novice trail runner. May 27, 2012
