Rated 4 out of 5áby Em Fitness Gear Adjustable Kettlebell-Good
I purchased this kettlebell because it was on sale for like 40$. An AMAZING value for an adjustable kettlebell. The only thing is, I didn't realize this kettlebell's MINIMUM weight is 20 pounds but I managed to not hurt myself during the next workout. The grip is rather rough so I would purchase some weight lifting gloves to keep from ripping up your hands. It's a little hard to hold this weight crusher style. Other than that, it is a descent kettlebell and I love the fact that most any standard plates can be added and that it can hold up to 50 pounds.

The Fitness Gear adjustable kettlebell is a well designed and manufactured product. It allows for multiple configurations and weights and is very cost effective. It's only draw-back is comfort when using it during certain movements due to its deeper shape. This is a very limited negative that you can get used to. You can change its weight from 15 lbs (just using the handle portion) up to 50 lbs. The biggest plus it has over other adjustable kettlebells is that its safe. It will not come apart during use exposing you to injury. I would highly recommend it to anyone that doesn't wish to purchase numerous kettlebells. It's quick and easy to change the weight.

This is a decent kettlebell if your just looking for something cheap to use until you can afford the real deal. Don't plan on adjusting these to much with plate weights. That doesn't work without having a gap between the top of the bell and the plates. You will then need to tighten the screw after every exercise so that the weight doesn't fly off. I've found that the only way to make these truly adjustable is to fill the plastic spacers with sand and duct tape the holes so that they don't leak. And don't forget to wear gloves so that the course finish of the handle doesn't chew your hands up. Remember this not a competition kettlebell.

If you are interested in getting a kettlebell, this is a good item because it allows you to save money by not having to purchase additional kettlebells of different weights. Also the staff at Dick's were very helpful in getting the item ordered since it was out of stock at my local store.

This is good if you just use it for the 20 lbs standard weight it comes with, but I have not been able to finds weights the same width as the plastic spacers. Not even at dicks, where I bought these. Since the additional weights are thinner, the screw doesn't go in all the way to adjust for the smaller space. So it is loose and rattles when working out. But even worse, when it is not able to be screwed in tightly, the screw spins out and you have to tighten it all the time so it won't fall on your face if you are doing bench presses or raising over your head. I tried a rubber piece to fill the gap, but every time you add another weight and remove a spacer, you have to find another gap filler for the increasingly larger gap. Now this has become too complicated to use as an adjustable kettlebell and I wish I had bought a couple of one piece.

I am a runner and I bought this so that I could strengthen my legs with squats and thrusts, unfortunately they only had one, so I have to wait until they get more in.

I searched for a kettlebell that was well priced and had flexibility on weights. This a great solution. While it can go up to 50 lbs. by adding optional plates, the average guy (me) should be happy at 25 lbs with a plate or two added for some workouts. I use this in conjunction with dumbells for a home workout. This is all you need.
