JUST RIGHT There wasn't any in my size instore and associte ordered it on line-very helpful and I could bring it to store if not fit. When came, as it did promptly, fit fine and is just what I needed for kayaking. I needed shoes without velcro so seaweed, etc. not stick to it, good protection on sole so oyster rocks not cut my feet, and robust lacing so mud not suck off. Also, I am happy there are no sharp, itchy materials so my feet are comfortable.Only wish was not so expensive, but should last for years. August 17, 2012
I would buy this product again. I wear the shoes for most everything as they are comfortable and easy to walk in. Great for me who is older is wants sure footing. July 18, 2012
Ready to wear right out of the box I haven't worn sandals in many years due to plantar fascitis, but I bought the Whispers because I was looking for a waterproof shoe for a rafting trip. They were ready to wear right out of the box with no blisters. They are easy on and off, but a little too open for trail hiking with sand or rocks and not much side to side stability for more than casual walking/hiking. I like the covered toe and wide toe box and the sole has good traction. There could be a little more arch support. I LOVE them for casual wear and bought Keens Willow sandals for the rafting/hiking.
