Exceptional shoe for the money
My wife bought the kids size for our trip to Puerto Rico. We hiked several miles through a rain forest and in a waterfall with no issue. There is virtually no "breaking in" period needed. Walked 20+ miles over long weekend. Shoes dry very quickly so as not to cause rubbing or blisters.

sturdy, solid sandal
We have 3 young boys and had tried about 5 pair of cheap sandals from mass department stories over the last 5-6 months. I figured the kids would outgrow them before they came apart. I was wrong. 4 of the 5 pair broke over a couple months of wear...our kids wear them everywhere. So, we decide to get Keens for them....I had soe for myself and they are extremely durable and comfortable. Wish I had done this from the outset....you pay a bit more than for store brands but they hold up much much better. You get what you pay for. Just wish they came in half sizes for kids.

LOVE THESE!
My son has worn Keen's for 4 years now. They are the best "sandal" for the active boy. He can wear them biking, on the scooter, skateboarding, to theme parks, and everywhere else. They can be thrown in the washer or just hose them off outside. Worth every penny! We now longer buy him sneaker in the summer now!

Great Product
These were exactly what they said they were. I bought these because the women's version was more expensive. I don't regret the decision. These seem just as durable and are comfortable.

Hook and Loop Strap broke on first use
Bought them for a canoe trip the right sandal's Black Plastic came off the end of the elastic. The store had us send them off to Keen. Just waiting. I am sure that Keen will replace but with a 10 year boy. If it takes 45 days half the summer will be over and he will out grow them by then.
